Communication from the outset was prompt and clear. We are very familiar with KAK and the Kihei area so this was like coming home. The condo had everything we needed. Added bonus that we came in January as we saw so many whales from the lanai...such a gift!

The condo in Kihei was wonderful. Good view from the living room. Nice lanai and outdoor furniture. Comfy king size bed and nice soft sheets. We were thrilled to get there and find they had all of items needed for hanging out at the beach. Chairs, umbrella, cooler etc. location is great for walking to places nearby for food. Beach’s were walkable close by and adequate parking for our rental car. We used the washer and dryer there in the unit. The condo was close to the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for the great accommodations! We had an awesome vacation!

Perfect for what we needed

This property was exactly what we needed and at a wonderful price. It was very clean and had such a great view and balcony to sit at early in the morning. Overall, was a perfect stay and having the pool was a great bonus.

Beautiful fully stocked apt in great location

This apartment had everything we needed to have a great time in Maui. The location was perfect -- less than 5 minutes from the beach and with excellent amenities nearby. Very clean and comfortable. Sad to leave it behind! Would book again.

Perfect vacation place

Apartment had everything what I could think of on vacation rental . Even though kitchen might need some updates everything works perfectly and was equipped well. Condominium is in perfect location to all seeing signs we had on our list. Short walk to beach with delicious bakery and icecream place on the way. Clean, quiet place with local Aloha vibe. Highly recommend in this price range, I would definitely rent it again. Mahalo

Our home away from home

We rented this unit for two weeks and were impressed with the location, cleanliness and amenities. A note about accessibility though. The complex has a lot os stairs that cannot be avoided and for people with mobility issues or lotnof luggage it was a haul. Onc3 inside though, the views, amenities and location make it all worthwhile. We had th3 beach, restaurants, shops and yes shaved ice/Gelato all within a fee minutes walk! Would rent again!!

A Dishcloth? A tiny sponge?

I have stayed in several VRBO type accommodations through the years. This time I was somewhat disappointed to find upon check in that the suite was surface clean only. I would have been okay to clean to my comfort level but I was left with only a 2” X 2” sponge and some dish soap. Not even a dishcloth. This unit could really benefit from a DEEP clean Including a good bleaching of the facecloths and towels. The location of the facility and the amenities were excellent. Check and check out were also smooth.

Recommended!

This is a large roomy condo with ample space. The owners provided beach chairs, towels and all other amenities. The location is excellent! It is maintained by a 3rd party property manager. When I arrived late in the evening, all the toiletries (including toilet-paper) were missing. However, the property manager delivered them quickly when I called her on the next day. The view of the ocean is limited, but I still loved the balcony! It is nice and peaceful! I recommend! The owner should provide some additional write-up about finding the exact condo since there are 3 buildings.

Beautiful spacious space close to the beach and with a great view!

We loved the amount of space, cleanliness and views of the peroperty. As it’s located in a apartment building, it’s hard to access (in the middle of the building) without an elevator close to the unit. With 5 flights of stairs it was hard to move luggage up and down. As well the pool area had a lot of rules becauee of sound travel, children playing in the pool made our unit very loud. It didn’t bother us but just a heads up! Overall it was a great space and in wonderful condition with all the beach supplies and cooking supplies needed for a fabulous trip! Thanks for having us.

I have always found the location compensates for the less than ideal access to the units, some more so than others. B-307 necessitates taking 34 stair steps to get to and from the unit, this won’t be possible for many and won’t be my choice again. The unit itself is fine. The bed comfortable, everything is in working order, the lani pleasant to lounge on. Some furnishings could be updated, but overall a nice place to spend less $$ and enjoy Maui.

Clean Condo, Close to Beach and Restaurants

I stayed in this condo for 12 nights in June/July 2023. The condo was very clean and had nice furniture and a comfortable king sized bed. I loved early mornings on the lanai where it was so peaceful and all you can hear are the sounds of all the different birds and the occasional rooster. If the trees were trimmed in front of the lanai you could see clear out to the ocean but the view was slightly obstructed. The condo is just up the street from a very good beach that you can walk to. My only real issue is that the condo itself requires taking several sets of stairs even after taking the elevator to the 3rd floor. Other than that, the condo has everything you'd need - beach chairs, umbrella, etc. The kitchen is stocked really well with all types of pots and pans. Overall I enjoyed my stay and was sad my time on Maui had to end.

Don’t ever rent with Rentals Maui

Our check out time was 11am and while we were packing our stuff to leave the door locked us out at 1020am when I asked the property manager he said that I need to call rentals Maui he can’t help do then I get on the phone and call rentals Maui and when I said it locked me out 40 minutes early the Abby, Abigail or something Ike that said “okay, is there something else you need to get out of there or?…,” uhh I’m sorry even if I had nothing left in there I paid for that 40 minutes so that question is irrelevant

We apologize that the lock timed out 40 minutes short of your 11 am checkout time. We have fixed the lock since to prevent this from happening in the future. Our staff is on call and able to issue a code for access to the condo. We hope you still enjoyed your time on Maui and hope that the technical error of the lock did not spoil your time here.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi, We booked thru Rentals Maui and they went above and beyond to help us, they were amazing and I will 100% book with them again. If they will have me after this review!!! Here goes. I am a fit and healthy person. I was sick upon arrival though so that just added to the stress starting with it taking over an hour to even find B 307 as the complex is a maze and the map does not have every unit on it. Stairs. Lots of them. At least 4-5 sets and stairs to the elevator. That being said I am the person that actually always takes the stairs!!! Just not super sick and lugging suitcases and being lost. Good things about the condo once we found it(we also met a lost family totally frustrated with not able to find their condo either)the good:A fridge with ice and water dispensera washer and dryerthe bad:loud portable AC unit right at the head of the beda 2 hour timer on AC in the living room (who does this to paying guests?) (Rentals Maui fixed this to 4)I dunno wake up every few hours in sweat to turn it on otherwise?)Very dirty Lanai (no sitting on the furniture)broken and super dirty backpack chairs which are a MUST for getting to the beach. Again Rentals Maui hand delivered a new one on the beach( I actually feel badly about asking that, again, they were amazing and I was ssssooooo sick)The UglyNot much Hawaiian décor going on here. Beige and grey. And a drawer popping out of a TV unit like a poltergeist. I've stayed in lots condos. beach house etc. I realized that it really does add to a nice vacation feel and experience I also have not written a review before. Now for the ugly:maybe purchase some shower hooks that close completely and a rod that doesn't jam all the hooks that fall off/out every time someone gets in the showerAnd the owners only parking is ridiculous and stressful if you don't feel like walking another 1/4 mile If you are renting a condo to tourists, make it look great so they will love it
