Amanda, we are so pleased that you and your family had a pleasant winter retreat at the cabin. My husband Andrew and I take pride in offering superior quality accommodations that are comfortable and safe. We were equally concerned when we learned that the land line was not functioning properly for your stay. We contacted the local provider immediately and the issue has been resolved. We learned that the issue was caused by a glitch that occurred during an upgrade of the local network. This was the first time in 12 years that we experienced an interruption in our phone service. Regarding the WiFi, we have grappled with the question of adding broadband internet to the cabin for some time. Our intention has been to offer our guests a setting that supports connection with family, friends and nature. We were concerned that our guests would miss these opportunities if they remained "plugged in". That said, we made the decision to add broadband internet with streaming video devices on the TVs in response to guests' requests. We hope that you return to enjoy these new amenities!
