Setzen Sie sich auf dem Deck zurück oder unter der überdachten Veranda, die Aussicht zu genießen. Wenn das Wetter ein wenig kühl ist, gibt es einen Wintergarten zum Entspannen. Oder sitzen Sie von einem prasselnden Feuer im Hinterhof am See. Es gibt einen Bootssteg für Ihren Einsatz, falls Sie mitbringen oder ein Boot mieten, während Sie dort sind. Maple Bay Get-a-Way hat auch Spiele und Aktivitäten für alle Altersgruppen. Wir haben Basketball, Maisloch, Tischtennis, Darts und Wand hooky! Das Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern ist komplett eingerichtet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man in einem Luxus-Ferienhaus erwarten würde. Die zwei oberen Schlafzimmer haben riesige Panoramafenster mit einem spektakulären Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang! Jedes der Schlafzimmer verfügt über einen Flachbild-TV und das Wohnzimmer bietet einen 42-Zoll-Flachbild-HD-TV mit Kabel- und Blu-Ray-Player. Kostenloses WLAN ist ebenfalls verfügbar. Die moderne Küche ist komplett mit einer Mikrowelle, einer Entsorgung und einem Geschirrspüler ausgestattet, um die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten zu einem Kinderspiel zu machen. Für Outdoor-Cookouts wird auch ein Propan-Grill zur Verfügung gestellt. Für Ihre Bequemlichkeit gibt es eine Waschmaschine und Trockner und ein zwei Auto befestigt Garage. Maple Bay Get-a-way is wonderful sitting by the water side or sitting on the porch watching the activity on the water! Awesome sitting by the lake with a campfire roasting marshmallows and enjoying family!!!

Great Trip!

Came to the property for a long weekend fishing trip for Muskie. Didn’t catch any fish but the property was beautiful and ended up certainly being the highlight of the trip. Definitely saving this property for future adventures!

The location of the cottage was great!

We had concerns about the very steep stairs to the upper bedrooms. Feel the dock and refrigerator need work. We loved the location. Very little seaweed this year so we enjoyed fishing and Kayaking.

Regarding the stairs, there is unfortunately nothing that can be done to the design I have tried to figure out a way to modify them but nothing will work because of the available space. The 2nd floor was added to the house many years prior to me purchasing it. As far as the dock, I will have that checked right away. I don't want to jeopardize anyone's safety. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. Can you contact me with details about your concerns regarding the refrigerator, please? I am not aware of any issues. Thank you for your feedback! Lovely setting, beautiful views of Chautauqua Lake. Centrally located. Host is aware of lack of cleanliness and addressing the issue so I wouldn't let that stop me from renting again. Host very quick to respond to all communication.

Hidden gem with glorious views

Want to wake up to a pink sky that evolves into orange and red sunrise over the lake? The two upstairs bedrooms overlook the horizon with lake views. It's incredible. The cottage is better than pictured. The putdoor space is great and the bonfire pit was wonderful. The location is perfect to venture into Bemus Point or Chautauqua. Kitchen is well-stocked and there were plenty of fans in every room. Temperature was very comfortable. Had a wonderful week here and will return.

Good access to lake, poor upkeep on accommodations

Loved the location and access to lake. House in poor repair. Not clean, water damaged floor, not good for kids who crawl, decking needs replaced, windows need repaired, needs dehumidified, dock needs leveled, no screen for basketball hoop has ever been seen by neighbors. Glad it was only a 4 night stay. Good thing was the view and fishing.

Nancy, Thank you for your response. Several items you mentioned have been already addressed so I thank you for the information. It is the beginning of the season and the previous tenants had not brought any of those items to my attention. The decking has been repaired, the window cranks have been replaced and the dock has been leveled. I spoke to the housekeeper and shared your comment. You mentioned the screen for the basketball hoop. That is a comment that was accidentally left in our information to the tenant but there has not been one for many years. It originally came from a concern from a former neighbor. I do feel badly about your experience because I have owned Maple Bay Get-a-Way since 1994 - nearly 30 years. I pride myself in making every guest's stay perfect. If you ever decide to return, I will be happy to give you a $100 credit toward your next stay. Absolutely Fantastic Views

We have started scouting the areas in the finger lakes and surrounding lakes for near future retirement plans and by far Chautauqua is our favorite. This beautiful cozy home, its view, the owner, the area activities and the overall people brought us to that opinion. The special touch was an exceptionally wonderful surprise. Thank you! Maple Bay Getaway

We stayed here for a family vacation for 1 week. The views were fantastic and the neighborhood is quiet. We have 3 young kids and unfortunately the lake was pretty dirty with algae and seaweed so the kids did not get to swim very much. The house is at a good location but it is in need of repairs. It was not very clean when we arrived and it is very outdated. A lot of screens had holes in them (windows & doors). There is a keurig for coffee but bring your own pods. The vacuum was mediocre at best. The washer/dryer was a nice feature. The bathrooms had a definite sewage smell. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and made the most of our vacation.

Jennifer, I am so sorry that your stay was not up to your expectations. I will definitely take appropriate action to make sure that these items are addressed for all future visitors. Regarding the lake, I know that the Chautauqua Lake Association works very hard to keep up with the condition. They have a challenge because of the EPA regulations limit the methods that they can use. I am in frequent contact with them and I will pass along your experience. I hope that you will consider another visit. I would like to offer a $100 credit for a future stay. We all had a great time. The location was very nice. The weather was very rainy one evening but we were able to hang out under the covered porch and still view the lake.

Family vaca!

This home was very family friendly. Adequate bedroom space, a tub for the little ones, and plenty of yard space. We enjoyed the proximity to many restaurants and stores as well as being right on the water. The owner was very pleasant and enjoyed speaking with him. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend!

Great Lake Cottage

We had a great time at this rental and loved the lake. Richard provided everything a person could need. From the DVD player, to the coffee maker and water dispenser, to the blue tooth speaker on the back deck, this rental had it all. We will definitely be coming back.

Great place, bad neighbors

The house is great, however, the neighbor is angry that this place is a rental. Came over screaming and being very aggressive for playing basketball at 8:30pm on Memorial Day weekend. He made our mini vacation feel like we were walking on coals. We are a couple in our late 40’s. If you like to stay up past 8pm, this place is not for you. The neighbor also lied to the homeowner about us lighting fireworks at 4am. We didn’t have any fireworks and we’re asleep every night by 11.

Fishing trip at Maple Bay

We spent 3 days at this location for a fishing trip. We had a blast!! We found the house to meet all of our needs, and were able to dock two boats on the dock with ease. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! Book with confidence and enjoy your trip!

Great house with beautiful view

This was a great lakehouse getaway with a responsive host. The only thing that should be more clear in the description is that there are really steep stairs to get to the upstairs bedroom. We were able to navigate them, but those with more limited mobility would not be able to.

Birthday weekend getaway

Perfect location right on the water with a dock that had lots of fish bass, crappy, sun and gar. And a lot more. Only thing that was negative is the stairs going upstairs. Very very steep and almost like a ladder. If you are older you are going to have issues going up and down. Bedroom on the bottom floor has twin beds. Master is on top floor and another smaller bedroom with a queen. Beautiful views from the beds looking out over the lake. Overall the house is quaint and well loved.

Great Location

This was our first visit ever to this lake and although the weather did not cooperate our accommodations were perfect. Private house right on the water with private boat dock. Property contact kept great communication. Will definitely consider going back again. Thanks.
