Great Family Cabin!

Our only complaint was the “community pool” and lake was about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin itself was perfect and as advertised.

I am extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and overall condition of this cabin, considering nightly rate after taxes and fees.Upon arrival, floors, carpets, rugs, and comforters were visibly dirty, felt slick, and covered in hair and debris. Bathrooms had hair and dirt throughout, forcing us to place towels on the floors after showering. Mattress covers had black hair and fresh stains, requiring us to wash them ourselves. One comforter had a questionable crusted stain. I even purchased detergent and blankets from the local Walmart that evening.The kitchen sink, stovetop, and counters were dirty and dusty. Bathrooms had mold/mildew, water damage, and dirty tubs. We also discovered mouse droppings. The downstairs bathroom needs better lighting. Walls & base boards were very dirty. My family owns two rental properties in Myrtle Beach, so I understand maintenance and cleaning expectations. However, this cabin clearly lacked proper housekeeping and routine deep cleaning.Our family arrived late during peak season, so we made the best of the situation rather than relocating. Our stay was for two nights. If it would have been longer we would have forgone other options. The property’s actual condition did not reflect its advertised VRBO photos or justify its price.This house COULD have received five stars given the number of beds, location, and amenities.

It was amazing.. everything was beautiful and just as listed many beds... check in was a breeze ..my family loved the theater and game area..we had a 7 and a 9 year olds and 3 adults..fun was had by all...all beds were comfortable.. very happy with our stay.

Beautiful cabin

Family atmosphere

Great stay. Very family-friendly cabin with a game room and movie theatre. Very close to Main drag in Pigeon Forge and not a difficult drive up the mountain. Plenty of parking and easy access to the cabin.

Wonderful for a large family.

Our second stay in the Playful Bear was great for the whole family, just like the first. With boys aged 5 to 15, there was plenty of amenities to occupy the whole family. It is also very convenient to the Publix and attractions in Pigeon Forge.

Great, Family Friendly Property

This was a great, clean and fun house. Fireside Chalet was wonderful to work with. The location is up in the mountains a little to feel like you were away from the hustle and bustle, but still very close to all in Pigeon Forge.

Great Location and very nice home.

The Home met all expectations. Was clean, had all the necessary items for a comfortable, home away from home stay. The property managers were great and answered all questions there were. Will definitely use them again.
