Very good location and lovely villa

The villa was excellent, spacious and well-equipped (except for one shower-room extractor fan that didn’t work). Great location with lovely views of Vlycha Beach. Easy (car or bus) access to a good supermarket and to Lindos village. It’s a shame there is no footpath down to the beach as the car is required to get to the excellent Lindian restaurant. On arrival the keys were easy to access and Giorgios was available on the phone, but we never got to see him in person during the week, despite expecting to. The pool was serviced regularly and the linen changed twice during the week. There was no information provided regarding waste disposal, and the single bin up by the parking area was often full to bursting. I cannot say the kitchen and the utensils were spotless on our arrival and there was a bit of an ant problem. On the fourth evening, we were surprised to have a family arrive saying they were booked for our villa that night! In fact it was an error by an agency other than HomeAway and it was quickly resolved as they were accommodated in the next door villa. Overall it was a lovely place to spend a week and the positives easily outweighed the negatives. I do think that for £5,000 a little more attention to detail is to be expected.

The villa is well located close to Lindos and to great restaurants and supermarket. It takes about 45 minutes to get to Rhodes old town but the drive is very pleasant. We took a boat out to Simi and around the Island.

Stunning viilas in the heart of Lindos

We booked to stay at the beautiful Lindia Athena villas for 10 nights in June 2016. We were a family of 7, plenty of space for us all with 3 bedrooms, and a studio, all with en suites. The view from the villas and pool was just incredible, we spent some days here and some visiting the different beaches on the island. Hiring a car is a must and very easy, either from the airport or in town once you have arrived. The villas are extremely clean, we had a maid come in daily to make the beds etc and were always left with clean bath and beach towels. The kitchen was fully equipped and a supermarket nearby, just a few minutes drive where you can get everything you'd possibly need. We also made good use of the BBQ outside. The terrace around the pool area is covered so you can get shade from the sunshine if needed. We would 100% recommend the villas to friends and family, we already have lots of people queuing up for the details. We will definitely be visiting again next Summer. The villas aren't in walking distance from town but you can easily take taxis into Lindos where you are spoilt for choice in regards to bars and restaurants. Lots of beautiful and local cuisines to choose from. George was fantastic to us throughout our stay, even when he had a very busy personal schedule, he looked after us non stop!
