Kommen Sie und bleiben Sie auf unserem historischen Bio-Bauernhof in der atemberaubenden Landschaft von Devon. Das Bramble Cottage wurde aus einer viktorianischen Molkerei mit dem beheizten Innenpool umgebaut. Das Haus ist komplett beheizt, hat einen Holzofen und ist das ganze Jahr über geöffnet. Genießen Sie die Ruhe zwischen unseren Gärten, Feldern und Wäldern. Versuchen Sie Ihr Glück beim groben Angeln in unserem schönen, gut bestückten See. Machen Sie ein Abenteuer auf unserem Waldspaziergang, fangen Sie einen riesigen Karpfen an unserem schönen See oder treffen Sie unsere freundlichen Bauernhoftiere und Haustiere. Der nächste Strand ist 25 Minuten entfernt und wir haben einige der besten Strände des Landes, die nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt liegen.

Perfect location and facilities

We had an extremely enjoyable few days at Bramble cottage. The location was stunning and there was lots to explore. We loved using the indoor pool daily and the grounds. We would recommend this as a place to completely unwind.

Short Break Away

Lovely cottage on a farm. Brilliant views of the countryside and lovely heated indoor pool to use. Half an hour drive to Instow beach. 15 minute drive to local supermarkets. Great for families and couples. Owners very welcoming!

Beautiful Place

Absolutely lovely cottage, loved the pool and the rota system, so peaceful, stunning views. The lanes were a bit tough as i am not used to them and my car took a bit of a beating although in sure that says more about my driving!

Very relaxing

We really fell in love with the property. A cosy farmhouse, perfectly renovated. A large heated pool, a fireplace, an enclosed backyard to hang out and a lot of space to wind down. Sophia is a very responsive and proactive landlord, always there when something is needed, friendly and accommodating.

Long weekend for family of five

Lovely, cosy holiday cottage with perfect room for our 3 children. Fab swimming pool, shared but with some access for half of each day which was perfect. We really enjoyed the woodland walk. Didn't get a chance to try the local pub but there is one! Thanks for the wine and cake upon arrival, great service. Only things to improve - there is firewood for the woodburner but need kindling/matches and one more sharp knife for kitchen

Very comfortable cottage with everything you need in a home from home and very welcoming owners.

No noise pollution and no light pollution, just the sounds of the birds singing and sheep grazing in the field! Lovely welcome treat from Sophia with cake and wine - so much appreciated after the journey there. Being able to use the indoor swimming pool was a big plus for me and the fishing in the lake was a nightly treat for my husband and son. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to explore the Devon countryside and beaches. The New Inn at Roborough also made us very welcome on the couple of occasions we ate there. Good food and wonderful service. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Relaxing holiday

The property was very clean and had all the facilities you could want. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and were always available if required. The setting of the cottage is superb, magnificent views and very peaceful, all we could hear was the birds and distant sheep. The New Inn pub is just about a mile away, they were very accommodating and we enjoyed a lovely dinner there. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Bramble Cottage and intend to come back soon.

Bramble Cottage

Excellent communication with owner including additional directions provided to ensure arrival to right location. We had access to pool on arrival which was great for our kids. The schedule for the sharing the pool with the other cottage worked really well. The cottage was clean and cosy with plenty of room for our family. Very quiet location with sheep for neighbors. The fishing lake gave our son a nice introduction to fishing. Treated ourselves to a meal at the The New Inn in Roborough booking required but definitely worth it. Able to get food and fuel at Great Torrington 15mins drive. Perfectly located to visit Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor. As well as scenic drive along the Atlantic Highway to visit Tintagel Castle. All in all we really enjoyed both the cottage and the location.

Terrific Time

Bramble Cottage is a really great place to stay with small children & dog. The outside space is fantastic: secure garden, covered area for beach equipment & washing line. Access to the pool is plentiful & made the holiday extra special for 6 Yr old. Great bbq in our garden which we used most evenings. We spent lot of time at dog friendly Putsborogh Sands an hour away. Local town, Torrington has everything you require. I would recommend Bramble Cottage as a great place for a family holiday.

We had a wonderful week waking up to the beautiful views out of the bedroom window. Roy and Sophia made us very welcome and were so helpful with any question we had. The pool is fantastic, warm, a perfect size and the rota system worked really well.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location. The indoor pool was a great thing to fall back on for the kids on rainy days. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider going again.

Simply the Best

Without a doubt one of the best family holidays we have had. Truly 5 star boasting a heated indoor swimming pool that actually is heated to a comfortable degree and only 4 ft deep accommodates all the family. The cottage has been expertly converted and no expense spared on the fixtures & fittings, it has everything you need (a home from home) .Like the pool the heating in the cottage is amazing, nice to have hot baths, proper showers and heated towel radiators. To top it all I caught a cracking common carp in the lake Thanks Sophia you made us very welcome.

AMAZING

Bramble cottage

As a party of 14 we rented the meadow cottage and bramble cottage. Bramble cottage is a very homely and comfortable 2 bedroom the views from the master bedroom and garden are outstanding.The hospitality from the owners Roy and Sofia are excellent providing milk wine and cake on arrival. The cottage is sufficiently equipped and very spacious the extra bonus is the indoor swimming pool which the children enjoyed along with the hours of fishing at the Lake behind. It's so relaxing and a great way to recharge batteries whilst having quality family time away The walks are fabulous in all directions from Wansley Barton and the local pub the New Inn in Roborough is so welcoming too with delicious food. We will certainly be visiting again
