Edna's Hearts Desire ist ein Haus mit 1 Schlafzimmer und 1 Badezimmer für bis zu 4 Personen. Diese Hütte verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirrspüler. Zu den weiteren Annehmlichkeiten zählen Deckenventilatoren und Sat-TV. Dies ist die kleinere von zwei Kabinen, die auf fast 2 Morgen sitzen. Es kann in Verbindung mit der Kabine 44R gemietet werden und ist ein idealer Ort für eine ruhige Zeit. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung und ist nur wenige Meter von der Hauptkabine entfernt. Wenn Sie beide Hütten mieten, ist es praktisch, eine zweite Küche für Mahlzeiten mit großen Familienmitgliedern in den Ferien, bei Versammlungen, Hochzeiten usw. zu haben. Außerdem gibt es ausreichend Parkplätze für große Familien. Dieses Haus hat kein WiFi.

Great place to stay

This was a great spot on the edge of a great neighborhood within Yosemite. The porch was great for meals. The cabin had all we needed for a fun trip. We really enjoyed our stay. I recommend it.

This is an amazing little cabin. It has almost everything you could want. And it’s so quiet and peaceful. The only downside was that the laundry room closed so early at 2:30pm

Perfect Yosemite Nest

Located in the southern part of Yosemite, this cozy cabin was perfect for our five day stay. Local hikes are wonderful and we were able to reach Yosemite Valley within an hour for major hikes and then return to the peaceful porch to eat, recover and enjoy nature. The microwave and grill are tired but overall the cabin and environs were an oasis from everyday life.

Nice cute cozy cabin . Clean in general. All utilities were functioning except air conditioner. Sofa bed could be changed and definitely needs insecticide spray as there were spiders. Would definitely recommend for a quiet place in woods.

Short stay at this cabin was comfortable

This is a comfortable cabin with all you need for an affordable stay. It's an older cabin but not in disrepair. Kitchen has all cooking appliances and dishware you need. Plenty of windows to open for viewing or fresh air or keep closed for privacy. We used both the bed in the bedroom and the pull-out sofa for our sleeping needs. Comfortable and easy to maintain. Good water pressure and quick hot water response. Enough space outside to wander about in nature but not a "remote" location - other cabins nearby. The grocery store in the community was very helpful and was opened decent hours. A convenient place to stay between the entrance and the valley floor of Yosemite. We could hear the babbling creek from our cabin. Very pleasant!!!!!!

Great location.

While this property was clean and served our purposes, it definitely had some wear and age on it. The carpet in the living room was old shag, and had a stain, and the linoleum was pulling up around the perimeter of the rooms. The kitchen cabinetry was very scratched up and worn looking. The microwave was from the 1980’s and took twice as long to heat things as it should have. Please at least invest $50 in a new microwave. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. It was very peaceful and relaxing there. The location was very convenient for going into Mariposa and not too far from Yosemite Valley. The property management team was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Dated and dark

Not somewhere we wanted to spend time. The cabin is very dark inside even on sunny days. The interior is rather outdated and scruffy. The property had had some pesticide treatment ( an information note was in the property ). The outdoor chairs and table were covered in it - a yellow / green which made then unusable without a good clean first. Nowhere to hang wet laundry. Hob: ignition temperamental; dishwasher: far too noisy to put on overnight; oven trays dirty; utensils - many at end of their useful life - rusty can opener. Overall, very expensive for the poor quality. Would not stay there again. Positives: situated within Yosemite National Park; the General Store - Pine Tree Market was an excellent place for provisions.

VRBO did not follow through with instructions!

Vrbo failed to confirm our rental and failed to instruct us on what to do when we get there, check in was at 4pm and luckily the office was still open until 5, when we called them they instructed us to come to the office to pick up the keys. I would suggest a combo box and at least a follow up from the actual propert manager to let us know where to go. She told us the VRBO is notorious for not sending instructions for their rentals. The cabin was gorgeous, the problems we had was that the AC was broken. Since it was the weekend and the office was closed we suffered through the evenings and nights, they did have a fan and that helped a lot. Another issue I had is there are absolutely no seasonings in the modestly equipped kitchen, not even salt and pepper. I wish I had known this before we shopped. The Pine Tree market had everything we needed! There is a DVD player but no DVD’s, no board games, not even cards. Plan ahead if you stay here! We’ve rented several VRBO’s over the years and they have always been fully stocked with these things so we stopped bringing them years ago. Bummer. Loved the beautiful woods and privacy of the home. Great Stay!

Cute cabin in the woods

Wonderful little cabin off the beaten path in wonderful Wawona. Close to the Wawona Hotel for a classy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Close to the Wawona swinging bridge, which is a great place t have fun or relax in a beautiful setting. Only 45 minutes from Glacier Point which was hosted one of the prettiest sunrises. Also 45 minutes from Yosemite Valley and all if it grandeur! This cabin highlighted our wonderful weekend in Yosemite. Definately recommend for couples or small families!

Outdated cabin

Cabin is very outdated. Microwave was from the 80s & took forever to heat up food. The bed is not a Queen size as advertised, it is a double. AC did not work so it got up to 80degrees in the cabin, had to leave the windows open at night, finally cooled off around 3am. There was no wifi (not even from the sister cabin). Hot water was only enough for half of a shower then cold (we finally turned up the hot water tank on the third night which solved it. It was very quiet, but definitely not worth the price. Would not stay here again unless cabin was updated.

In the winter, the family-friendly Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area (formerly Badger Pass Ski Area) offers snowshoeing, snowboarding, skiing, cross-country ski tours, and in Yosemite Valley enjoy the outdoor ice skating rink.

In any season our Wedding and Event Center is open for all occasions! Whether it's for a group ski vacation, business training, a family Christmas or Thanksgiving get together, or a reunion of any kind this is the perfect spot for all to gather. Our Wedding and Event Center comfortably seats 100 for group meetings, and 80 for formal dining. There is a large open deck with a fireplace, and inside there is a second fireplace along with a separate Board Room and Catering Kitchen.
