Rural house El Colorao

The Colorao is located just outside the town of Sotés, in the province of La Rioja.

The name of this rural house is due to the reddish color of the ravine of the hill closest to it, called “El Colorao”.

Despite preserving traditional materials of the area such as tile, wood or ceramics, the house was recently built. In this construction, the most innovative isolation mechanisms on the market have been incorporated. The large windows and the vivid color of the facade characterize a warm winter home thanks to the heating system it incorporates.

As for the distribution of the house, El Colorao has 4 double bedrooms. Its more than 24 m2 make them spacious and cozy rooms where there is no lack of detail. Inside you can find the bed area, private bathroom, cozy living room with TV and a corner for reading.

The kitchen - dining room is decorated in a rustic style, whose wooden furniture and ceilings combine perfectly with the tones used in its walls.

Apart from this, we need to comment on the last room of the house, the living room, equipped with a round table with chairs and sofa.

More than 1000 m2 of land characterize the space surrounding the house. An extensive estate full of green areas and intended for several uses:

- A part destined to the garden that incorporates a gazebo, the barbecue area and play space for the little ones.
- Another part that is dedicated to care for and cultivate different fruit trees.
