Sehr empfehlenswertes Haus im Süd-Osten Siziliens

Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert, weil es zum einen in einer sehr schönen Gegend (bis auf die Zufahrtstraßen) in der Nähe der wunderschönen und interessanten Stadt Syrakus liegt und zum anderen weil das Haus ausgesprochen nett eingerichtet und ausgesattet ist. Vor allem aber besticht der unübertreffliche Charme des Eigentümers. Wir haben schon öfter ein Haus gemietet, aber eine solche Betreuung noch nie erfahren. Er war bei An- und Abreise im Haus, hat eine professionelle Übergabe gemacht mit Einweisung ins Haus aber auch mit touristischen Ratschlägen für die nähere und weitere Umgebung - einschließlich Restaurantempfehlungen. Ein solcher Empfang macht den ganzen Urlaub nochmals doppelt so schön. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal in dieses Haus fahren.

wat rooskleurig

De omschrijving, zoals gegeven door de eigenaar is echt rooskleuriger dan in de praktijk. Er zijn eigenlijk nauwelijks voorzieningen in de directe omgeving m.u.v. een uitstekende bakker op loopafstand. Het propvolle strand op circa 2 km is alleen geschikt voor bezoekers die van Zandvoort- omstandigheden houden.De woning was schoon en voorzien van de elementaire benodigdheden. De 2 strandstoelen waren niet te gebruiken: de spijkers staken eruit en van de in totaal 17-18 beschikbare bankjes en stoelen waren er slechts 4 die fatsoenlijk zitcomfort hadden. De eigenaar gaf aan alles te gaan vervangen maar hiervoor nog "geen tijd" te hebben gehad Het zwembad was vervuild toen wij aankwamen. Bleek niet schoon te krijgen en daardoor de eerste 10 van 14 dagen niet te gebruiken. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding was dus matig. Pauls review, When we, Two couples end fifty, arrived at Villa Boutique the owner waited for us for a two week stay. He was very friendly and gave us some tips on places to be and go. What we already have noticed is that the pictures on the site are more beautiful and different than in reality. The furniture was in a very bad condition, 18 seats of which 4 are reasonable to sit on. There were no sun beds by the pool. Only two types of half-seated chairs and these were in such a bad condition that the nails were visible. When we reported to the owner, he told us that he had bought everything new but had no time to exchange the chairs and beds. He told us that he would exchange everything after our rental period. Why wait if you get complaints about it!!! Very customer friendly to us. We paid 210 euros a night! Price quality was not in proportion. However, he had time to look into the very bad state of the swimming pool water where we could not swim for 10 days. With these many visits he had time enough to place the new sunbeds by the pool. The owner has not done anything with our comments. He ignored us and he did not come with a reasonable compensation. In short, if all of this had been alright, we had a nice holiday with all the comforts of the villa. We only had a shower by the pool. You will understand that this was a one-time visit and we did not have any good memories of the villa and the owner Giuseppe.

like a 4 star hotel without the crowds!

On arrival, the owner greets you to show you around the villa which has everything you need and more! Even Sicilian treats and some food and drinks stocked in the fridge! Guiseppe"Peppe" gives you the inside scoop of where you should go to eat, drink, shop, must see sights ect....goes out of his way to ensure you have a great stay! Garden was great for the kids, they enjoyed the pool, garden for playing ball games and swingset and slide. 5 minutes walk to a quiet local sandy beach and 10-15 minute drive into the centre of Siracusa which is a gem of a city. We went in almost everyday to get fresh fish, fruits and vegetables from the market.

Very charming house ... and owner...

We stayed in that lovely house for one week end of April 2016. The way of communication and friendly reception by the charming owner made this a very special stay. We had rented many houses in various countries before but this one was quite exceptional. The hous is very tidy, clean and fully equipped. The design bears the handwriting of the caring owner - the house simply has character let alone the garden with its beautiful flowers and trees among which are even lemon and fig trees. The lounge in the garden simply invites to chill. The location of the house (only 45 minutes from the airport CTA) is perfect for tours to the south-eastern region of Sicily but also to the Etna area and Taormina. The very nice little town of Siracusa is only 10 -15 minutes away and the old part of town offers everything one expects from a romantic Sicilian city. If we travel to Sicily again we will make sure to stay in that house.

Great. i hope to come back soon and surely will return to this extraordinary place. i recommend everyone to go to Boutique villa, will be treated very well.

charming villa close to the beach

this wonderful accommodation is located just 5 min far from the nearest beach. me and my daughter enjoyed a lot the sea of Arenella, as we like diving. the house is pretty and comfortable, and Giuseppe is a nice host: he prepared for us a meal as we arrived late in the night and explained house rules and how to move around. i loved sicilian kitchen and restaurants suggested by the host are the most of the town. we went away after a week but never forget this holiday. hope to come back soon.

simply great

giuseppe is the best host ever met: kind, polite, very welcoming and absolutely friendly. at arrival he gifted us with local products and explained what to do and where to go. the villa is in a quiet area and is full of facilities and services. our two boys enjoyed a lot the pool while me and my wife got tanned in the spacious terrace. inside is simply wonderful: parquet in all rooms that makes the house warm, a modern kitchen with coffee machine, toaster, boiler, oven, and more, as you get in the bathroom it seems to be into a 5 star hotel: stones in the shower, a washbowl on an old sicilian table and a homemade . barn sliding door. too cool. surely if i'll come back we will go to giuseppe's villa.

An enjoyable stay at a beautiful Boutique Villa

Giuseppe provided a very personal service. We arrived late and he waited up very late for our arrival and then showed us where we could get dinner! Nice personal touches - fresh fruit and breads and water already in place before arrival. Giuseppe also provided some excellent local area information, suggestions and recommendations. Overall a very welcoming and friendly service. The villa itself is also very nice with good facilities, such a free wifi, hammock in the garden and plenty of deck space (both in and out of the sun) and obviously that lovely pool. Our children (aged 6 & 8 ) really enjoyed themselves. Accommodation is good, with clean room and with very comfortable mattresses! The lounge area and sofas are perhaps not quite as high a standard as the bedrooms but when you are outside 90% of the day this is really not an issue. There satellite TV with some English channels (BBC world) but there was no DVD player (which some people may like but although not an issue as we had our own). The TV will accept a usb drive - so handy if you have films/TV shows stored that way (this can be handy if you want to entice the children out of the sun and pool at the hottest part of the day!). The location is good although you really need a car. The beach (a small sandy stretch with some rocks and beautiful azure waters) and shop are a short walk away - watch out for those Gelato's! Overall a very relaxing stay. Thank you Giuseppe!

Splendida Vacanza tra i Sapori della Sicilia

Abbiamo soggiornato presso la splendida location di Boutique Villa nel periodo che va dal 14 al 23 Giugno 2015. Siamo stati accolti da Giuseppe e Maria che ci hanno fatto trovare la location in perfetto ordine e ci hanno addirittura fornito il necessario per la colazione dei giorni successivi, evitandoci di doverci preoccupare di fare la spesa appena arrivati. La villa si trova a pochi passi dal mare, in località Arenella e non è quindi necessario utilizzare l'auto. Arenella dispone sia di spiagge libere che di aree attrezzate con lettini, ombrelloni, bar e tutte le comodità necessarie. E' comunque possibile prendere l'auto e raggiungere altri incantevoli lidi nelle vicinanze (suggeriti da Giuseppe) e ben attrezzati. A due passi da casa vi è inoltre un piccolo negozio/supermarket che vende tutto il necessario per gli approvvigionamenti di una breve vacanza. Qualora non si sia patiti di spiagge e mare, si può comunque usufruire della piscina e del solarium di Boutique Villa in piena tranquillità e godendosi la privacy che questa location sa mantenere. Abbiamo soggiornato in 4 adulti ed una bimba di 20 mesi e possiamo dire di aver goduto appieno della famosa ospitalità e degli splendidi sapori del sud. Non mancate di visitare La splendida Siracusa, Ortiggia, il Teatro Greco, l'Orecchio di Dionisio oppure la città barocca di Noto, ne rimarrete piacevolmente colpiti. Per i ristoranti, lasciatevi consigliare da Giuseppe e Maria che non sbagliano un colpo, oppure acquistate del buon pesce fresco e cucinatelo alla griglia come abbiamo fatto noi, utilizzando il barbecue già presente e fornito di tutto. Consigliatissimo a tutti!

Simply perfect

We arrived late in the night but Giuseppe waited for us and prepared a dinner for us. the beginning of our holiday has been incredibly perfect and also the rest: great villa with all the facilities and services of a five star hotel. Great spaces outside and the pool with a terrace with sun beds and a gazebo with white curtains and candles all around made us felt like a dream land. It's a very quiet place, no cars around and very close to the beach, If we should come back to sicily we surely return here. Thank you Giuseppe

Very beautiful and awesone

I've been with 3 friends of mine and as we arrived immediatly Giuseppe welcomed us in a very polite and kindly way. He prepared cakes for us and we drunk together a bottle of sicilian wine. Then he took us around to show near places and the beaches and where to buy something to eat. The villa is large and there's a beautiful garden. The 2 bedrooms are quiet and kitchen is fully equipped. I reccomend to all the people that search quiet and relax close to the sea.

excellent villa and wonderful host

My girlfriend and me stayed at Boutique villa for two weeks in August 2014 and we did a very good choice: the villa is like in photos, very clean and with nice furnitures. It's fully equipped, there's everything you need and is very quiet. Outside you can stay the most of the day, we had breakfast or dinner and have sun near the pool. the sea is a few steps far and the market is very close. we had different walks by bike given by the owner. for us has been un unforgettable holiday, and i recommend for those people who search quiet, relax and sea. the owner Giuseppe has been always available and he suggested us the very best to eat or to visit. higly recommended.
