The room was okay, but the resort itself was really dirty. The quilt on the bed was dirty, but they brought a new one to replace which was nice. The pool was great and we really enjoyed that.

This unit is nicely tucked in a corner with a beautiful view of the resort grounds and the ocean. The floor plan provides a roomy feel. The sleeper sofa was a bonus. Perfect for two, all we needed!

The room was good.. a couple down falls was..the fridge wasn't cool the first day were.. apparently the guest before had the fridge all the way up and it caused it to freeze up..we couldn't get the stove top to work..that could have been on us.. the view was really good..the palm trees directly off the balcony did block a lot of the view though. The resort was great.. the staff needs training in customer service. I didn't check in at front desk..so I'm not sure about them...but the cleaning staff looked at you like you cursed them out..when just walking past or saying excuse me.. the bar and grill had good food.. but the waiters took forever.. half the time you had 3 different people bringing you things . They also just assume if your paying with cash... That all the left over money is for a tip. The resort itself was really nice..5 stars.. the room 4.5 stars . The staff 11 star.

Perfect location

This location was perfect for us. Nestled at the end of a hallway with the pool just around the corner made it quiet and peaceful in our room. I wouldn't recommend this room for 4 adults but for 2, it was perfect! Ocean view, 5 star....very family friendly section of the beach!

We went for spring break. My son (7yrold) and I had a great time! Perfect view of the ocean!! We were close to the indoor pool and all of the hotel amenities! It was off season so the water was cold, but the sun and balcony were perfect!! Would love to visit again in the summer!!

Great spot for 2!

A quaint basic room with a comfortable bed and sofa. We were able to cook most of our meals in the room with the stovetop and microwave. Sitting on the deck was noisy with the restaurant below us, an indoor pool next to us, and outdoor a/c units. However, we had a great view of the ocean. Property management was extremely responsive with 2 issues that we had in the room. The location is close to all of the Myrtle Beach entertainment. We highly recommend!

We checked in and first thing we saw was a squished cockroach on the floor. The bed had a thin comforter over it but zero pillows and blankets on the bed. We had to make it. Then none of the bathroom towels or washcloths were anywhere to be found. They ended up being in a linen bag on the floor. Just found it odd we had to make the bed and search for stuff. It’s a very outdated old hotel room but it was cute enough and the access to the beach couldn’t be more perfect. All in all it was good!

The biggest problem is the AC unit. You pay for ocean front but the curtains had to stay closed the entire time. AC did put out cold air but at a very slow rate and the room would get hot if you cracked the curtains to see the view. Housekeeping could clean better too. Hairs left on the shower walls.

The online description was very accurate. We enjoyed the location we were in. 2nd floor had quick and easy access to all of the available amenities. Barely had to use the elevator! Oceanfront view from balcony, pools, restaurants, bar, and cafe were all highlights and conveniently located on the resort. Easy access to the beach and a lifeguard post right outside of the hotel was appreciated. For a night out we chose Broadway at the Beach and it was only 10 minutes away if that! There were also tons of restaurants and supermarkets closeby! We had a great time overall! Our only hiccups both came on the first night. Upon arrival our access code did not work. We tried it several times with failure. wife was able to get someone on the phone and request a new access code which was granted and worked fine for the rest of our stay.

It was very noisy. A noisy fridge in one side of the bed and an air conditioner on the other side.

My over all impression is I wouldn’t give the owner $2.00 for this property. The kitchen sink clogged and for our last two weeks we had to do dishes in the bathroom. Also the toilet was meant for a 2 year old. No closet ,no storage space. The first thing I would do is fire the cleaner and hire one that knows how to clean. Dirty eating utensils and dishes. etc on a positive note. Nice balcony and ocean view.

Lack of activities

When renting this condo I was under the impression that we would have access to everything that the resort had, the multiple pools, water park, arcade, fun house, etc since they were all shown in the pictures on the listing. However when I arrived we were told that we only had access to the one outdoor pool, that was tiny, the indoor pool and of course the beach. No where in the listing or the renting agreement does it say that none of these things are not available to you even though you’ve paid for them. Other than this, the resort is lovely, the restaurants within them are great, a little pricey but good, the room was spacious and the views were beautiful!

The furniture is updated. The bed is a King and that is awesome, but it needs a mattress topper because it is rather too firm. The couch bed also needs a topper so it is more comfortable. We LOVE the carpet. The directions for the stove are a bit confusing...please revise with step by step directions. Property was clean. The curtains need to be replaced due to some rips. Bring your own DVDs if you want to because there is a DVD player. It would be nice to have a Roku or Smart TV. If you ever need to replace the toilet, please replace with a higher toilet. We are not complaining, just giving suggestions to make the amazing place even better. We will return.

Bugs!!

My husband and I stayed here 8/19-8/22 and this unit was NOT clean. They supplied very little hand soap, to where we ran out almost immediately, luckily I brought body wash. They also do not supply toilet paper, paper towels, and charge you a cleaning fee but expect you to take out your own trash and wash your own dishes. They also do not send you a code to get in until 4 pm which is super inconvenient when you are driving 14 hours to get there. The icing on the cake is our last night, we walked in and there was a brown ROACH on the floor! Then we woke up and there was another one on our clothes!! I immediately contacted the "host" and still have yet to receive a reaponse. Don't even bother with trying to tell hotel staff since they're apparently not affiliated with them at all. They wouldnt even help us with parking when the entire parking garage was full because apparently even though we had to have parking passes, they just let anyone park there.They suggested we park our car at a building 3 miles away and walk back..I have pictures of the roaches in our room and will be asking for some money back because I am disgusted. I would not suggest staying here.
