Ferienunterkünfte nahe The Icelandic Museum of Rock 'n' Roll

We had a great stay in the apartment. It is well equipped and spacious, located on the ground floor with an outdoor Jacuzzi. When we arrived the key was in a keybox outside but the landlord came nevertheless to introduce and show us around, which surprised me on the wrong foot but was a very kind and nice gesture. During our 10 Day stay we were able to use the playstation and the big movie DVD collection, the garden and the sea access, the jacuzzi and enjoyed the somewhat remote and calm location! There is very little traffic on the road nearby, the house itself is alone on a gigantic piece of property so enough parking space 😉 Nevertheless it takes only about 20 min each to reach Keflavik or Reykjavik and even the golden circle tour or blue lagoon can be reached from there. However we were both irritated that Anna must have come into the apartment in the middle of our stay to swap some towels and stuff. We were not aware this would happen and surprised by it, would not have needed fresh towels either. I think that is a very good service for longer stays, but I would have felt better if we knew it would happen or would have been announced to us or sth like that. My partner liked the house dog very much, which was sometimes playing or chillin’ in the garden. It occasionally barked at our car when we were leaving, but never bothered us. Really nice to have these beautiful animals around and that it can play on such big ground! All in all we loved to stay here!

Das kleine Ferienhaus ist urgemütlich und ausreichend für 2 Personen. Von hier aus lässt Reykjanes aber auch die Südküste sehr gut erkunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt um die Ecke und auch die Innenstadt von Hafnarfjördur ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Ansonsten ist man mit dem Auto oder dem Bus auch schnell in Reykjavik. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

great accomodation

Geräumige Wohnung mit allem, was man für einen Kurztrip (3Nächte) braucht. Super freundliche Gastgeberin. Sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Leider hatten wir Pech mit den sehr dichten Schneewolken.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, alles vorhanden, schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Sehr gute Lage zum Flughafen.
