Ferienunterkünfte nahe Stone Lane Gardens

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in this lovely cottage.The weather during the Whitsun (Pentecost) holiday was perfect for hiking and day trips in the surrounding area. After our excursions, we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the afternoons. In the evenings, we often went out for dinner at the local pub – highly recommended!We also appreciated the small local shop for picking up a few groceries. While the prices are a bit higher than in a supermarket, it's conveniently located and has the most neccessary things in stock.The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. On their recommendation, we took a day trip to Dartmoor for hiking – an absolute highlight and a must for nature lovers!All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay that we would gladly recommend to others.Best regards Ludger

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has a great location and you are also allowed to walk around the hosts' property, which is really extraordinary big. Hosts are very gracious and were also happy to show us around their farm and old house. The tour was very interesting and it was nice to talk to the hosts.

wunderschönes Anwesen & Haus inmitten fantastischer Natur! die Besitzer haben uns warmherzig empfangen und unseren Aufenthalt mit zahlreichen Tipps bereichert - Gross & Klein waren rundum begeistert! Ein Auto ist unerlässlich (dürfte sich vonselbst verstehen). Richtig, eins noch: der „AGA“ (Danke für die Instruktion an Nathan) ist ein Erlebnis - für wen sich darauf einlässt … in unserer Familie jedenfalls ist die „AGA-baked“ Pizza bereits legendär.

Sehr schöne ruhige Lage, extrem freundliche Gastgeber

Die „Scheune“ liegt in einem idyllischen Dorf hinter dem Haus des Vermieters. Sie hat einen eigenen Garten und ist mit allem (und mehr), was man braucht, ausgestattet. Supernette Vermieter. Im Ort sind zwei empfehlenswerte Gastronomien (Castle Inn und Lydford House), der Ort selber ist historisch und super hübsch. Man kann direkt um den Ort tolle Wanderungen unternehmen und erreicht mit dem Auto auch recht kurzfristig die Küste. Wir sind über 1.300km angefahren - und jeder einzelne Meter war es wert! Great and very British!
