Get Away From It All!

This home is fantastic - the location couldn't be better to really get away from it all. The beach was mostly deserted, save for the occasional walkers, and the water was perfect for our small kids. Everything in the home was as promised, very well appointed and the local property manager (Andrew) could not have been more helpful, friendly and pointed us in the right direction to make the most of our week touring Grand Bahama. A quick 10 minute drive gets you to Port Lucaya and all the retail amenities you could require, but we found ourselves staying at this piece of heaven as we quickly found out that it was probably the best place on the island. Many thanks to Bruce & Anna for listing their home online and sharing it with my family for this wonderful week.

A dream comes true - you awake in paradise!

The name of the house is "paradise" and this is exactly what it is !
This place is perfect for everybody to enjoy wonderful holidays.
The house / place is exactly as described / also photos. The two main sleeping rooms have both seaview and "seasound" which is unbelieavable relaxing. The proerty is clean, well-maintained and there is also a "good human heart available" taking care for everything needed and also for special request.
Supermarkets are only 10 minutes away. We've been with the dolphins which was amazing for our children (you can touch them in the water or swim with them)!
We would go there immediately once more !
We had fantastic days and could refuel new energy !

Paradise doen't begin to describe this

One of the best vacations that my husband and I have taken in several years.

Everything was as promised. The beach, the house and the assistance from the caretaker.

The best part was the peace and quiet. The location is convenient to town but remote enough that all you hear are the waves of the ocean. The house is beautiful and well equipped.

if you're looking for the "real vacation" away from anything, but staying closed to markets etcs, this is the perfect place!
take the books you wanna read, the friends you wanna share this paradise and the rest is given to you by the beautiful sand & sun & sea just a 10 steps from the cottage. Just remember there will be some sunflies (oil yourself!) the only "noise" you will hear will be your voices and the sea! And be sure that you will have a person looking for helping you in any need you may have!
