Hello Frank, totally agree with with the reviews posted earlier. The Family Resort Riumar is a really peaceful location. There's hardly any traffic on the streets of the settlement. This resort is ideal for beach holiday with peds too as the nearest way to beach is just a few seconds walk away but there's plenty to see within 20 minutes driving distance as well: The Delta of river Ebro is really fantatic of excursions, Ampolla, Perello Mar two waterparks near Salou, nearby towns, weekly markets everywhere etc. Your manager Christoph is a true gentleman with at your service -attitude. He and his wife Nadya speak the local languages as well as english fluently and that is a considerable advantage in case you end up in a situation where your own English or Catalan doesn't cut the mustard! Car is a must. If you prefer spending your time only a few minutes away from your villa, you will find all that any holidaymaker could desire close at hand: including international restaurants, tapas bars and xiringuitos on the beach (we recommend: "CANTINA") and leisure facilities for the whole family - whather water sports, deep-sea fishing, pitch and putt golf, tennis, wellness and spa therapies or mountain biking, as well as the many excursions on offer in the vicinity. Prestigious diving schools, also offering trips in glass-bottomed boats, are located at Hospitalet de l'Infant and Cambrils. Your very beauty and luxury new villas on 1`st line of the beach too, with splendid views look all very interesting. Panoramic views included like in VillaOasis. Ampolla itself is a small quiet town and deserted beaches can be found nearby at Cap Roig and Santa Lucia, a pretty snorkeller's paradise. There is more to do than time allows . . . visit Delta Chalets ! It`s really great for family holidays. We recommend first class "Delta-Chalets" at Riumar. de !
