Cockatoo Hideaway Cabin offers a fully private getaway for groups up to 5 guests. It suits couples, families with children of all ages or even just a night away for yourself.
Nestled on 10 acres near the Montville side of Lake Baroon, just an 8-minute drive from the charming main street of Montville, Cockatoo Hideaway features two adjacent houses a Cabin and a Log House connected by a massive wrap around undercover deck. You can book either one, or both, of the dwellings (if you book just one the other will be locked and not be rented to other guests assuring your exclusive use of the entire property). Surrounding the houses, which are set back 1km from Narrows Road, are large grassed areas including an open fire pit. Adjoining the property is a stunning national park, offering bushwalks and opportunities to connect with the Australian landscape.
The Cabin sleeps up to 5 people and has an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area adorned with modern furnishings. The Cabin has 2 bedrooms each has a queen bed with the larger room also having a single bed.
At Cockatoo Hideaway, you will enjoy relaxing and entertaining on the undercover deck, seamlessly linking the Cabin and Log House, and being surrounded by a lush forest setting. Cockatoo Hideaway invites you to bask in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Please note that this property does not have Wi-Fi or internet- This property is accessed via an approximately 1km driveway, which includes dirt, gravel and bitumen. Extra low vehicles may find access difficult.

*Where properties have a fireplace or fire pit, Montville Real Estate do not guarantee firewood supply. Any firewood provided to guests is not a mandatory inclusion and we recommend guests bring their own supply of firewood for use during their stay. Where firewood is provided, in general the supply may only be enough for a night or two and we recommend bringing your own firewood regardless.
