Cozy and Spacious
Right off the bat, Im going to tell you that I recommend this cabin; it has very little not to like. Overall, it is crazy cozy and spacious. Most cabins seem way smaller in real life versus how they looked in the pictures, but I can honestly say this one met my expectations. The location is great (very close to town), its well heated, has plenty of kitchenware (way more than you probably need), super soft furniture, and there are TVs in every room with flawless wifi. Our gripes were small and didnt ruin our trip: The biggest issue we had was the fire alarm. It is super sensitive. We had the microwave fan on, doors open and me waving around a blanket every time we cooked lol (it really does go off for seemingly no reason. No clue whats setting it off when we cook). Secondly, the walls are very thin. I like feeling of being secluded in these cabins, but we took a gamble on this one having two separate floors. We could hear them downstairs perfectly. Luckily the TV drowned their noise. We chose not to do a fire because of the fire alarm but our downstairs neighbhors did and we could smell it. We honestly thought their fire would set off our alarm because the smell was so strong in our cabin. Like I said, its a great cabin. Definitely worth the stay in my opinion.

Great place close to slopes
Getting the key information from the property management was a bit stressful, as there was a lot of traffic and we weren’t sure the exact time of our arrival. Also, when we received the welcome email after checking in, there was information about free/discounted ski equipment rentals that would have been great to have when we booked (perhaps I missed it). The main heater doesn’t quite reach the bedrooms, but they had plenty of linens and space heaters to make up for it. Overall the place is very well stocked and charming.

My husband, our 98lb Labrador, and I had a wonderful time. The place was clean, homey, and welcoming. Our pup loved the supplied dog bed. Because of the stormy weather, we stayed indoors, which was just fine with us!

Our team offers 24/7 support along with local on site offices and experience packages.

Big Bear GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY is enforced at all times during your stay and includes removing trash from the property to local trash sites, washing dishes to alleviate wild animals being attracted to neighborhoods. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS, No Over Occupancy, No Loud Music, and No Street Parking is allowed in Big Bear homes at any time. This policy along with a rental agreement will be emailed to you immediately after booking and is REQUIRED by the City of Big Bear Lake for all rentals in Big Bear. If found in violation of these policies guests will be visited by staff and Code Enforcement officers who may or may not issue fines or evictions to the violating party members. No Smoking is allowed in any Big Bear homes.

Winter Snow & Parking- During winter months the driveways, steps, porches, decks, and other outdoor areas at your property may not be accessible due to snow or ice. Our teams are on fixed routes for snow and work alongside city and county resources to clear roads, driveways, walkways etc. Guests should be prepared in winter months to shovel themselves in or out of the property and off of the street in these snowstorm events. As there is no street parking allowed in Big Bear it is extremely important that guests make every attempt to get vehicles off the street for the snowplows. California Law requires that vehicles traveling to Big Bear from November thru April have snow chains in their vehicles however we also recommend proper footwear, an emergency kit, and an extra snow shovel.

Though individually owned and decorated all homes will be equipped with clean linens, blankets, pillows, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy of your property. Each home has a full kitchen with basic pots, pans, dishes, and a small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Your home will not be supplied with paper towels, coffee filters or coffee, specialty kitchen items or appliances, condiments or oils, bathrooms soaps or lotions and hair dryers.

There is no Pay-Per-View access or Ordering of Viewing options in any of our Big Bear homes.

No refunds or credits will be made for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, TV or other equipment factors beyond our control.

Big Bear is a mountain community located in a deep forest which is also home to many forest critters. Common animals or insects that you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects every home prior to your arrival but cannot guarantee that the home will be free of these forest animals or pests.

Big Bear Vacations reserves the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
