This modern mountain home has gorgeous views to enjoy from the hot tub and multiple decks with plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing. The ultimate in comfort, this cabin is equipped with high-speed internet and even has a backup generator for any power outages. Located just 10 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains Parkway for easy access to all the best attractions in the Smokies. Comfortably sleeps 4-6 guests.

Important Note:
We would like to inform you that as we transition into the spring and summer season, starting from April 1st, our fireplace will be temporarily turned off and inaccessible. This change is in line with our seasonal maintenance schedule and aims to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities.

Please note that the fireplace will remain unavailable throughout the spring and summer months but will be turned back on by October 1st.

Bkack cabin

The cabin itself was very nice and clean. There were a few issues though. In the listing it said there was a coffee maker and a toaster and there was not, so we had to go and buy a new one for us as we are coffee drinkers. A toaster would have been nice for breakfast. The hot tub was dirty and had algea in it which was disappointing. There could have been more towels. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Great place but needs some improvement

We overall enjoyed our stay at this particular house. Our kids were rather happy with the provided movie selection and games while we got ready for the day. That being said, some major improvements would have made our stay better. The lighting outside is in desperate need of being changed. Most of the lightbulbs were not working so it was very hard to see while attempting to get the hot tub to work. There were no instructions on how to use said hot tub and we would have contacted the host, but it was getting later in the day and we didn't want to be rude. The second night our son found a used eyelash on the dinning room table. I do not use fake eyelashes so it was obviously from a previous guest. The main bathroom shower headed was also a pain for us to use. It wouldn't stay above a certain position and although my husband and I are more vertically challenged, we had to scrunch down to use it. The bottom of the shower could also use a major cleaning as it was black. There were a few stones leading down to the firepit that are loose causing a major hazord to the already steep trail. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the place had everything we needed while there. Some minor, easy improvements would have made it that much better though!

Fabulous

We just got home from our stay here and it was wonderful. Check in was a breeze, everything was as advertized. My daughter especially (pre-teen) loved how it was decorated. It wasn't 10 minutes after we left that she said she wanted to stay there again. I did have to contact the host due to the shower head and they were fast to respond and had it fixed in less than 12 hours. Was close enough to everything we wanted to do: Smoky Mtns, Alpine Coaster, Dollywood, horseback riding, with the added benefit of feeling secluded.

Great stay for us!

Overall, the property is nice. We used the hot tub without issue and it was very clean and hot when we arrived! The fire pit was put to use every night as well. One thing we learned was to look into burn bans so you do not illegally have a fire in the fire pit. The neighbor was concerned and let us know about it. Inside the house was really nice. Comfy beds and the other furniture was as good as expected. The owner was very easy to work with and gave great instructions. Steep driveway and local roads are steep and narrow but you are on a mountain so what else would you expect? I did back into the driveway each time we came back which made leaving a breeze. You are 30-45 minutes from the most amazing hiking trails. Walmart is 15 minutes away and restaurants are about 10-15 minutes. The neighborhood was pleasant and very quiet. I would recommend the stay as it was clean and pretty up to date.
