Summary:
Absolute beachfront home, you can't get closer to the beach than this unless you're camping on a dune! It is a quiet location but only 2km from trendy Semaphore and and 5km to Henley Beach.
The home is bright and modern, has a renovated kitchen and bathroom, and recently upgraded furniture and appliances!
It is the ground floor apartment so you literally step out of the front door onto the dune on a quiet stretch of beach.
The Space:
We have a renovated modern kitchen with beach views. We offer a nespresso machine with fair trade and biodegradable pods, but also other coffee makers if pods are not your thing.
Other appliances include microwave, smoothie blender, soda stream and pura tap water filter system and a sandwich press for our guests to use. There is a 5 burner stove top and plenty of cook books to look through if looking for some inspiration for your beach side dinner!
Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and built in wardrobes. The main bedroom has beach views from a bay window!
The living space, adjoining the kitchen and main bedroom also faces the beach. It is open, bright and has lots of indoor plants. We have brand new security screen doors to allow the sea breeze through on a warm night and you will have access to a private patio for your morning coffee or beachside dinner.
The stylish bathroom features a double shower so no one misses out on their rinse after a swim or sun bake on the beach!
A sit-stand desk and comfortable desk chair can be provided if required. If you plan to use this space to work remotely, please let us know when you book and we will set up accordingly. Working with this view is highly recommended!
Guest Access:
You will have access to the whole apartment and relevent carpark. The apartment is in a group of 10 and main access is from the street, not the beach. The door is clearly labelled with the apartment number.
There is a shared courtyard with washing lines between the undercover carports . There are additional off-street parking places on the property which are available for use.
Internet wifi use is welcome but no downloading or illegal activity.
The Neighborhood:
In between trendy Semaphore and Henley beach, very popular beach side suburbs of Adelaide.
Getting Around:
Access to visitor car parking, as well as bus stop for the 157 line between Largs Bay and the CBD on Military Road nearby. There are train stations at Grange and Ethelton, about 5 minute drives away.
Other Things to Note:
The beach access is about 30 meters along the grass in front of the house. Please don’t cross directly over the dunes as they are under environmental protection and brown snakes tend to like grassy dunes! For this reason please also keep the screen door closed at all times.
Please note we require a copy of your drivers licence or passport upon booking.
A $150 Security Deposit is charged to ensure keys, cards or remotes are all returned.
