Within 5-10 minutes: Private access to Fontana Lake, several Hiking Trails, Lake Front Gazebos, Grills, and a Marina that includes a Day Use Dock and Boat Launch - Pack up the Fishing Poles, or your Water Toys, Rafts, and Boat. Enjoy Fresh Water Fishing or Float the day away… Fontana Lake is Pristine and the Shoreline is Primarily Undeveloped and Completely Natural.

As you arrive - You are greeted by the spacious deck in front of the Lodge (and those ever present Gorgeous Mountain Views), which are an integral part of Lookout Lodge’s Attraction. Gather on the comfortable outdoor seating around the “TiKi" Fire-Pit on the spacious deck and share quality time with friends and family while basking in the fire's glow. Or wrap yourself in one of our Plush Bathrobes after a Relaxing Soak in the Sparkling Hot Tub with its Picturesque Views of the multi-layered Mountains.
On summer evenings, the Starry Skies are even more Magical as the Fire-Flies Twinkle all around you.

As you step inside of the Cabin - the Wood Floors, Extensive use of Glass, Posts, Exposed Reclaimed Beams, and Open Spacious Great Room are Welcoming and make you feel both Energized and Relaxed… After a relaxing soak in the sparkling hot tub, wrap yourselves in one of the plush bathrobes and cozy up by the Fire in the floor to ceiling rock fireplace that is a focal point of the Great Room.
The Kitchen is the Heart of the Home, and is well appointed and stocked with everything required to prepare and serve the most Complex Recipes. The Kitchen opens into the Dining Room where the wood table seats 8 Comfortably. Through the Dining Room, is a large Screened Porch that is perfect for relaxing with a good Book, or doing Yoga.
The Open Great Room/Dining/Kitchen’s Focal Point are the ever present Long Range Mountain Views.
For the BBQ'er in the Group, The large modern grill is the ideal spot for cooking tonight's feast, and you can even dine Al Fresco - Mountain Style.

Through the Great Room to your right, is the Game Room that is complete with Shuffleboard Table, Shuffleboard Bowling, an Assortment of Board Games, Large Flatscreen TV, Full Bar (B.Y.O.B), Lounge area, and the Game Table. While you are in the Game Room enjoying your favorite Sports event or a Game of Cards, the Bedrooms on the other side of the Cabin remain Silent and Undisturbed…

If this is a “Working Vacation” for someone in your group, they are sure to appreciate the Loft Office that includes a Desk with Computer Monitor, and possibly the best Mountain Views in the entire Cabin! (Internet Service is provided by Balsam West (formerly named SkyWave), which is without a doubt the most reliable and fastest speed Internet available in the area, and use is unlimited.

On the other side of the Cabin, are the Bedrooms. Each bedroom has received special attention and unique details that are Enjoyable and Memorable.
The first Master Suite is on the main level. The Comfortable King Bed is prepared with Luxurious Linens, High Quality Bedding, and is perfectly placed to Enjoy the Incredibly Beautiful Mountain Views. The Master en-suite bathroom offers a jetted tub and separate shower.
Upstairs is the second Master Suite (Jr. Master), with another Extremely Comfortable King Bed that looks out over the Mountain Views and a Chaise Lounge Chair that is placed beside the large windows.
A few steps down the hall is the 3rd Bedroom with a Luxurious Queen Bed that offers a Sky Light above, and is perfect for laying in bed and Star Gazing…
The 4th “Loft bedroom” is Private and Adorable. There are two twin beds (a trundle bed and day bed above the trundle).
When you wake, the "Coffee and Tea Bar" awaits. Enjoy your favorite beverage while enjoying the ever changing Mountain Views...
