Kiln Cottage befindet sich auf der Garlic Farm auf der Isle of Wight, am Fuße des Mersley Down im Arreton Valley, einem Gebiet von außergewöhnlicher natürlicher Schönheit. Das Ferienhaus bietet Platz für bis zu 4 Personen in einem Doppelzimmer und einem Zweibettzimmer. Es gibt zwei Badezimmer mit Badewanne im Obergeschoss und ein Duschbad im Obergeschoss. Draußen ist ein geräumiger, abgeschlossener Raum mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Grill. Unser hauseigenes Restaurant befindet sich vor der Tür und ist täglich zum Frühstück und Mittagessen geöffnet. Sie erhalten Ermäßigungen im Hofladen und im Restaurant sowie Zugang zum Spielezimmer, Tennisplatz, Fußballplatz und zu allen schönen Spaziergängen in der umliegenden Landschaft. Pfauen, Eichhörnchen und Hühner streifen mit Hochlandrindern und Pferden in den umliegenden Feldern frei um den Hof.

Die Farm ist ideal gelegen, um die Insel zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad zu erkunden, die an der Nabe von Radwegen und Fußwegen liegt, für die die Insel berühmt ist. Es gibt einen privaten Fischteich, einen Kilometer entfernt und die Strände sind nicht mehr als 10 Autominuten entfernt.

Erdgeschoss:
Sehr große offene Küche, Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer mit gut ausgestatteter Küche und geschmackvoller Mischung aus modernen und traditionellen Möbeln. Badezimmer / Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Dusche und WC.

Nach oben:
Doppelzimmer mit freiliegenden Holzbalken und eigenem Bad mit Badewanne. Zweibettzimmer und separates Bad mit Badewanne.

Frühstücks- und Abendterrassen auf beiden Seiten des Hauses ermöglichen es den Gästen, die herrliche Lage in vollem Umfang zu nutzen.

Das Haus ist zentral beheizt und verfügt über TV, DVD-Player, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Elektroherd und Herd.

WHERE ARE THE ANIMALS!?!

The peacocks and all the animals in fact were conspicuous by their absence! I was very disappointed...they add character to the GarlicFarm and my dog also loved seeing them on the porch in the mornings waiting for seeds...he was fascinated.. The splendid choice of cakes in the restaurant..gone! But we like the Garlic Farm and The Kiln is out favourite home away from home...we love walking to Arreton which does the loveliest lunches!....And so friendly and good value! We will be back to The Kiln ...it is such a familiar effortless April, May holiday and we come home refreshed! Thank you!

A Perfect Escape!

The Garlic Farm is a diamond in the heart of nature. The farm is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature and the great outdoors. Surrounded by hills, and an abundance of wildlife, it is a perfect microclimate. Kiln Cottage is beautifully maintained, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. One of the highlights of our stay was waking up to the sound of birdsong! The blackbirds - I haven’t seen so many! For those who appreciate serenity, fresh air, and a touch of country magic, this cottage is an absolute gem. We left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful & Peaceful

Visited with friends and absolutely loved it!! The restaurant/cafe food was delicious, the quality was definitely one of the best. The cottage had everything we needed, loved that it has 3 bathrooms. It was clean and well presented. The view of the horses at the field from the lounge of the cottage and the quiet peaceful nights were very much needed.. We will most definitely be back!

A relaxing comfortable stay at Kiln Cottage - a spacious quirky cottage at The Garlic Farm in a beautiful location. Very helpful comunication with Mel beforehand and a much reduced fare for the ferry through her. Two days of sunshine set the seal on a lovely short break .

Fantastic getaway

We had a great time staying in Kiln Cottage at The Garlic Farm. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Check in/out was also easy. Parking spaces right by the cottage helped too. The emails leading up to the stay, guest guide app and arrival details all sent through in good time in the lead up to our break, arriving at the right time to keep us informed and furnished with the info we needed to plan our time there. A couple of thoughtful welcome items were also a surprise.

Beautiful property very thoughtfully provided for. Superb grounds with fantastic walks and amenities (games room, tennis courts, sauna). Wonderful restaurant and shop on site. Staff very friendly and pleasant. We felt very welcome and can't wait to come back.

Thank you to the Garlic Farm team, particularly Melanie who took care of us from the very beginning (booking the cottage and ferry) and up to the end of our stay. We have received a lot of extensive information about the cottage and Garlic `Farm facilities a good time in advance that had covered everything, every needs, questions, farm facilities, our wishes and we were happy all the time of our stay at the Farm. The farm staff were very helpful, quick to respond to all our questions, emails, phone calls while we have been there. We will definitely recommend the Garlic Farm to all our friens, relatives, neigbhours and we want to come back too! Thank you to the staff of the Garlic Farm! :)

Beautiful Farm Cottage

We stayed in Kiln cottage for a week... it was very comfortable, plenty of space for the 4 of us (with my wife and 2 girls of 10 and 13) and had everything provided as promised. The cottage was clean and felt like home for the week. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It was especially nice to have all of the other amenities of the farm, like the shop and restaurant, game room, playground, and long walks around the beautiful hills. We'd stay here again in a second.

A short break at the Garlic Farm

Our stay at Kiln Cottage was lovely. Could not fault the accommodation, as well as the contents at all, everything was there that you needed. The location, was beautiful. The terrace at the front provided a gorgeous view over the fields where the horses were. The staff all around were very friendly and very informative. Lovely accommodation in a handy location

We booked to stay for the proximity to our friend's house. The accomodation was good for teenage children and felt homelike as opposed to a hotel or B&B. Very good communication and clean, comfortable cottage. Good to have restaurant on site for breakfast etc. A comfortable stay.

First foray to the IOW

The whole of the garlic farm is full of charm and is definitely a place to take a breath and relax. The peacock is gorgeous and it’s clear to see that they have made the most of the wildlife in the area by providing red squirrel feeding stations by the restaurant amongst other things. The games room is excellent, we had a great time, lots of things to do. Small things could be improved, there was a sock under the bed from a previous guests stay, the bed was very uncomfortable and dipped in the middle and the pillows were uncomfortable. The garlic bread was amazing as was breakfast in the restaurant, lovely food and although there was garlic in most of the dishes it was very subtle and definitely added to the dishes. It would have been good to have a clearly marked parking space for the cottage as on changeover day the neighbouring cottage had taken up both parking places as it was not clearly marked.

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else

Another wonderful stay at The Garlic Farm Everything is just perfect , we had a lovely lunch at the restaurant and then took our dog on a glorious walk around the beautiful grounds of the farm meeting goats and cows on the way. We truly love this place and would never stay anywhere else .

Fabulous dog friendly cottage within the grounds of the Garlic Farm

Great, comfy cottage with all amenities. Good parking. Dog friendly and lots of good walks around. Left us some freebies from the Garlic farm which were much appreciated. Meal at the Garlic Farm restaurant was gorgeous. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

Great cottage!

This is our second time we go to Kiln Cottage we were very keen to get the same one as we were brining our friends to the Isle of Wight for the first time. We had such a great experience the first time we spoke to Melanie again which had great customer service to book us in. We highly recommend it! It great as you can bbq, cook as the kitchen is fully equipped! Love it will book for the third time but this time with a hot tub:)

Love it!

We love staying at the Garlic farm and Kiln Cottage in particular as it is the perfect size for a small family with enclosed outdoor space for little ones. Some decor within the cottage could do with a bit of attention, but overall we love staying here and are booked again for 2024!

Lovely cosy stay in a beautiful cottage

We had a lovely stay at the Garlic Farm! It was November and pretty wet, but it was so nice to have somewhere cosy to stay and chill out for a few days. We had our dog and the hosts were very welcoming, we were able to explore the farm with their farm walks. 100% recommend eating at the restaurant too! Thanks for a lovely stay

Our stay in the Kiln cottage was very comfortable. We brought our 2 labradors and it is ideal for them because they have more than enough space in the cottage and there are many good walks in the grounds of the garlic farm. The cottage contains everything you might need and is very spacious.

GARLIC FARM STAY

Bit tricky going down the Newport Shute ( but that's only me as a driver ) but once we arrived oh! what a lovely place Lovely and peaceful Peacocks on our doorstep and rabbits in the field Restaurant, coffee shop and gift shop all on site - ideal if you do not want to venture far Do lunches/cream teas and a fantastic cooked breakfast Cottages were well equipped and extremely peaceful Plenty of parking outside the restaurant and outside the cottages P.S. There is also a disabled ramp for access to the restaurant and shop Had a lovely break - shame we had to come home Would definitely come back again
