The coldest, complete with almost continuous rain, ( and for good measure a bit of snow), could not prevent us have a splendid time here in the lovely Hampshire countryside. Just a few hundred yards from the station, and railway passes just 100 yards from the cottage, which is actually an end terrace house. This would be a superb location in the (warmer) spring and summer with the picturesque and historic Itchen Navigation - plenty of wildlife and great walking.
The house has designated parking, although we managed very well with the nearby train service. The lounge is compact, but has space for 2 sofas, smart television, electric heating. The kitchen is galley style with oven (not shown in the pictures!) hobs, washing machine, dishwater fridge / freezer and plenty of cutlery / crockery. At the far end of the kitchen is an attractive conservatory with views of the waterway.
Upstairs there is a great bathroom, the master bedroom is extremely comfortable, whilst the second bedroom has small single - only suitable for younger children.
Great base to explore Winchester, Winchester, Basingstoke, Bishop's Waltham and Marwell Zoo.
Certainly a place to relax.
