This is in the perfect location! It is just a few yards from the Pantheon. It was awesome to come out and look down the street at such a historical site. We also loved the ambiance of the street and area. It really is an experience to stay in the historic district! The restaurants by the apartment were so good! It is close to bus stops and there are taxis that line up at the Pantheon if you need one. Very convenient!
The apartment was clean and comfortable. It has a very tiny kitchen, but who wants to cook anyways! Diana was a great hostess and made sure that we had everything we needed.
My parents loved staying here so much when they went to Rome that we had to stay here too. I am so glad we did!

We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again. However, our experience was not a one-sided one. Here is our assessment of the pluses and minuses of the facility.
Location! Location! Location! It is really a wonderful location and convenient to most places we wanted to go.
The bed was large and comfortable, with an ample number and type of pillows.
There was an abundance of clothes hangers.
The shower had ample hot water.
Wi-fi worked well.
Shutters particularly on the bedroom windows aided our sleep.
There was a rooftop deck which we enjoyed.
We appreciate all of the pluses, particularly since we have not always found them to be present.
We have been staying at VRBO condos for about 15 years. This was the worst equipped condo we have ever encountered – particularly the kitchen. There was no microwave oven, no toaster or toaster oven, no kitchen workspace, and no “left overs” i.e. no salt, sugar, tea or any of the condiments you would prefer not to have to buy for a short stay. There was no iron; we had to buy an iron for € 15 which we left at the condo. Also, there was no blanket, nor extra bed linens and towels. (There was a washing machine in a storage room on the roof, but no dryer, and the towels took nearly 3 days to dry hanging around the apartment.)
There were size issues with some of the accommodations, as well. The bathroom was very small. It was difficult to get into the bathroom without first stepping into the shower. There was a bath mat (rug) in the bathroom. If you wished to open the bathroom door it was necessary to roll up the rug. You could not have the bath rug unrolled and open the bathroom door at the same time. These operations were even more complicated at night.
I could go on, but I think this captures the essentials. Set you expectations properly and you can have a delightful stay. If you worry about the small things or are looking for luxury, this place is not for you.
Pros: First, we want to say that our stay in this apartment was perfect for us and any couple looking to be in the middle of all the action located in Rome. It is steps from The Pantheon and easy walking distances from other major attractions like Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. We were able to walk everywhere, sit on the rooftop and enjoy a glass of wine, and use the washing machine to clean our clothes. It is noisy when you open the windows and not as noisy when you have them closed. This to be expected when you are in the heart of Rome. It is a very safe area too.
Cons: After making our final payment and receiving a confirmation, we did not hear from Diana, the landlord. We had emailed and later called, hoping we would hear by the time we got to Rome. When we arrived, we had no word from her, and we were left standing outside of the apartment with our bags. Luckily, there was a kind bar owner named Pasqual who knew her brother and was able to get in touch with him to give us a code to get inside. Once inside we walked 3 flights of stairs to the apartment where there was a key. After we entered we ran out because it looked like someone had been staying there. After telling Diana's brother, he quickly got her on the phone and we were able to get in touch with her. She apologized and told us she did not get any of our messages and was not sure we were coming, even though our payment had gone through. She quickly called the cleaning lady and she came within 10 minutes. We left to grab a bite to eat and within an hour the cleaning lady had worked her magic. The apartment was very clean, bed made with clean sheets, and swept. After that, we were able to settle in for the next 3 nights and explore the wonders of Rome. She sent us recommendations and was very kind to us apologizing for the mistake.
Advice: For those choosing this apartment, make sure to get a hold of Diana prior so that she can send you the information you need to get inside. Do not assume she will reach out to you. The number provided on HomeAway does not connect either. She has another number. Also, be aware that there is no elevator and that you will be carrying your bags up a few flights of windy stairs that are marble. It's not that steep, but if you have more than one bag, you will be making more than one trip. When you arrive, check out the bar next store, ask for Pasqual, and enjoy a drink! He is a great connection to have and will help you if you need it
Pleasant stay. Excellent location. The owner was extremely accommodating. Good recommendations for local restaurants. Nice kitchen. Loved the seating area on the roof. The two items that could improve are clothes washer needs instructions in English and portable fan in the bedroom for cooler sleeping (the AC unit was near the sofa bed in the main area).
I had been to Rome several times in the past, and stayed in hotels. For this trip, I knew I wanted to stay in the historical center, and this location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the Forum, Piazza Navona, and a bit farther away the Vatican. The unit was clean, and safe. The kitchenette was small, but I didn't come to Rome to cook my own meals. I just wanted to make my own coffee in the morning, and have a glass of wine at night. And besides, the restaurants all around the apartment were fabulous. Just take a stroll, read the menus, and make your selection. Diana was lovely to meet when we arrived, but we had no need to contact her again during our stay. It can get noisy on the weekend evenings with the young crowd leaving the
