Das 'Sun and Surf'-Apartment-Interieur spiegelt das Strand-Insel-Ambiente von Sanibel wider! Ob Sie drinnen oder draußen sind, Sie sind nie weit vom Strand und dem Golf von Mexiko entfernt. Unsere breite Veranda bietet einen Panoramablick auf das Meerwasser, den schönen, von Muscheln gesäumten Strand und das glitzernde Wasser vom beheizten Pool am Golf.

Wenn ich aus meiner Veranda trete, zähle ich 19 Stufen bis zur Spitze des Strandes und weniger für das erfrischende Poolwasser.

Unsere Wohnung bietet eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Insel - alle Annehmlichkeiten und aktualisierte Geräte von zu Hause.

Das Wohnzimmer bietet einen 42-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, hervorragende Beleuchtung, Verdunkelungsvorhänge und einen Queensize-Schlafsofa. Der Innenraum ist sehr gemütlich und fröhlich!

Das Badezimmer präsentiert einen Spa-ähnlichen Waschtisch mit offenen Regalen. Die Einstiegsdusche verfügt optional über einen Handbrausestab sowie einen Haltegriff.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer / die Suite verfügt über einen direkten Zugang zum Spa-ähnlichen Badezimmer. Genießen Sie den Komfort einer weichen Matratze auf Ihrem Kingsize-Bett. Sehen Sie auf einem 26-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher fern und nutzen Sie unsere Einbauten, um Ihre Kleidung und wichtige persönliche Gegenstände aufzubewahren.

Wohnzimmer und Hauptschlafzimmer haben Teppichbodenbelag. Fliesen werden in den Fluren, in der Küche, im Essbereich und in der Küche verlegt.

Auf Ihrer Veranda stehen Liegestühle und Accessoires sowie Kleiderbügel für nasse Badeanzüge zur Verfügung. Sie müssen nicht viel nach Sanibel bringen, da wir ziemlich lässig am Strand sind. Wir haben auch eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner in voller Größe im Gerät.

Trocknen Sie Ihre Muscheln oder noch besser - genießen Sie das Frühstück auf der Veranda mit unserem Tisch für 4 Personen. Unsere Veranda-Tür ist perfekt für Senioren und Familien. Interior Dining ist auch für 4 Personen verfügbar.

Gehen Sie aus Ihrer Haustür in ein tropisches Naturschutzgebiet. Üppige Landschaften und wild lebende Tiere erwarten Sie. Bringen Sie Ihr Fernglas und Ihre Kameras mit, um die besten Sichtungen zu suchen und zu teilen!

Zu den Annehmlichkeiten zählen ein beheizter, ruhiger Pool am Golf, ein Tennisplatz, ein Basketballplatz, ein Shuffleboard-Platz, 4 Gasgrills und ein Essbereich im Freien für Familienessen in unserem Grove. We loved this great location, it's a hidden gem. First floor, literally steps to the pool or beach. Not much of a water view from the room if you are looking for that, but with the great access to the pool & sand, it really didn't matter. Cozy screened patio was nice also. The room had everything we needed. We will be back! The pictures really don't do this place justice. Its great! AND everyone we dealt with from the owner, to the staff at the resort, were all super friendly.

extremely well-kept

This unit is stunning, exceptionally well-kept or rather freshly renovated with contemporary furnishing and a well-equipped kitchen. Since all supplies (toilet paper, soap, kitchen towels, dish detergent, etc.) are provided and will be replenished by the office (!) this condo has a rather hotel feel. The lanai is great for breakfast, the walk to the beach is very short, beach chairs are available as promised, there's a reserved fully covered parking spot, plenty of towels in the bathroom. Oceans Reach as a complex is very quiet and well-maintained. If you arrive via plane consider taking a taxi to Sanibel Island and renting a bicycle for the duration of your stay. Bicycles have highest priority on Sanibel Island. Booking was easy over the phone with the owner who answered our inquiry immediately, the confirmation and the check-in was handled by the complex admin on site. All in all, we can highly recommend this unit.

It's only 18 steps!

Wonderful time in Sanibel staying at Ocean's Reach. Dru was very responsive to all our questions and everything was as advertised. Great Location on Sanibel. The unit was very clean. A few things that would be renters might want to consider. This is a first floor unit right behind the pool. In general the pool was never busy or loud, so this was not an issue for us, but I could see where a large noisy group could be annoying. Also, the benefit of the first floor is that you can walk directly out onto the beach from your unit. Higher floors need to go out the back and walk around. The negative in first floor is that at night we had to close our patio door and could not listen to the gentle ocean waves. Though we felt 100% safe in this complex, it was just to unsettling to leave the door open to anyone that may want to wander in. Neither of these are negatives, just something potential renters may want to know. The only negative I would have is that the AC is very loud. The system is in a closet right off the bedroom, and when it is on it is very loud. Luckily, the nights were generally cool enough to use the ceiling fan. So Five stars...with just a couple nits. Hands down the best!

This condo is absolutely perfect. It was spotless and so well equipped we had beyond our needs. The location cannot be beat. It is literally steps from the beach. It is across from the pool but it was quiet despite activity in the pool. The bed is comfortable. The shower is modern and spacious. So far this is the best accommodations we have had in Sanibel. The complex is a hidden jewel. Well manicured. Yard games. Basketball. Courts. We are so impressed. You will not be disappointed.

Great weekend getaway

Rental is just as described. Perfect for me and my husband. Yes, only 19 steps to the beach. Bed very comfortable and towels were plush. Kitchen is small but well stocked. Loved the screened porch - ate all our meals there. Nice breeze kept the mosquitoes away. Bring or rent bikes if you stay. Short ride to Periwinkle which is main road lined with shops and restaurants. Would definitely rent again if in the Sanibel area.

Love This Property!

It’s true—this condo is just steps to the beach, and “spittin’ distance” to the pool. We had everything we needed, and what we didn’t bring, was available at the office. And the office folks couldn’t have been nicer! If you rent this condo, you will have beach chairs and a large rolling cooler at the ready. A very relaxing stay. Please keep this property a secret! 😉

A bit oversold...

View is nice. First floor condo is adjacent to pool so can get very noisy during day. Condo in okay condition- carpet is dirty with stains, couch pillows worn and stained, counter top stained and chipped. Would benefit from an update and good deep cleaning. Sofa bed mattress poor quality if you plan to have guests. Bed is very firm. We've stayed at many properties in Sanibel over the years and this condo is middle of the pack. Without the ocean view, would have rated 3 out of 5.

Perfect getaway

This was our babymoon and it could not have been more perfect. I do recommend bringing "no see ums" spray in case you like to be out early or for sunset certain times of the year. Otherwise, absolutely perfect stay. The property was impeccable and the staff was amazing. Thank you!

I spent part of my years growing up in the great state of Ohio. Go Bucks! My family enjoyed many vacation trips to Sanibel and Ocean's Reach starting in the mid-70's. And as the story goes, my parents bought their first Ocean's Reach condo in 1983. I followed years later and shortly thereafter my sister purchased also. We are all pretty active to this day--whether it's playing tennis, running, walking or bicycling. We all waited until a first floor unit became available. We loved the easy in and out access from the lanai to the beach. It's so carefree. We continue to enjoy family get togethers on Sanibel at Ocean's Reach and love running to and from each other's condos without knocking on the front door.
I relocated full time to Fort Myers a few years ago and am very active on Sanibel. I also help to oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the unit even though a team of professionals is on site 24-7. My personal reward is making guests at Ocean's Reach happy with their vacation selection. I love seeing how happy they are after arriving. I realize how important a REAL vacation is. You deserve our full attention to the details of your condo vacation.

It has an incredible view and is on the first floor which offers such a carefree lifestyle if you want to be on the beach.
Ocean's Reach is the best because it is so close to the ocean and every single condo has full and direct views of the water and beach. We are unique in those two features. Further, we are NEW! After Hurricane Charley we spent almost a year and a half revitalizing our resort property and gutting each and every unit. Therefore the infrastructure, appliances, furnishings and floor plans are new in materials, design and code!! Truly we are unique in many ways on Sanibel!
