North Myrtle Beach condo review
Condo is attractive and comfortable.
Internet service is excellent.
Spectrum TV service went out twice. Manager told us she had a family emergency and we would have to call the cable provider to get TV service returned. Took us 35 minutes with the first outage and 15 minutes with the second outage. The manager apologized for the inconvenience but did not offer any compensation. The manager did not have a back-up manager.
We used the dishwasher once and found out that it was leaking water through the drain under the kitchen sink. We put a pan under the leak, informed the manager, and told her we could live with the leak by using one half of the sink and not the dishwasher until she could get a plumber in after we departed. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience.
The screen door to the balcony was not available for our use. It appeared to be broken and was stored in a closet.
The first security badge we used to get back from the beach through the gate would not let us back in. We informed the manager. It was obvious that this badge had not been checked recently. No compensation was offered for us being locked out of access back to the condo.
This rental, in our opinion, needs cutting boards for meats and vegetables, new unscratched pots and pans, a can opener (glad I had my Swiss Army knife with us), and a notebook with instructions for all appliances and equipment.
We provided all this information to the manager via email after our stay, but did not hear back.
