Hello, we are Candy & Anthony, from Shanghai and Singapore, we moved our family from Shanghai to Kyoto because of our love of Japanese culture. We follow the hospitality of the Japanese tea ceremony of "one period and one meeting", and firmly believe that the distance and separation every time is due to fate, no matter where the guests come from, they will repay the same warm and trusting heart, cherish this short gathering, and leave long memories.
We have traveled to more than 30 countries and more than 50 cities, so we know that in addition to the fatigue of the journey, we need a warm, comfortable, convenient and tidy place to rest and adjust our mood, so the house also means a house of fate. When designing and decorating the house, we adhere to the orientation of providing comfortable and modern facilities and spaces, while respecting the original layout and style of Japanese machiyas. Guests can enjoy a separate living room, kitchen, garden or terrace for the most pleasant relaxation after a long journey.
Our check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am.

For leases of 1 month or more, the cost of water, electricity and coal is calculated according to the actual situation, and one month's rent needs to be paid as a deposit.

Located near Toganji Temple and Saiganji Temple, it is only a 5-minute walk and about a 10-12 minute walk from Kyoto Station. The temple was renovated from a traditional Japanese-style Kyoto townhouse, and the interior is equipped with modern facilities to make it more comfortable to stay while retaining the original structure. The first floor is a small living room with Japanese tatami mats, where you can enjoy a small view of the courtyard and enjoy a cup of rain or a cup of coffee and immerse yourself in it alone. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, one Japanese-style with tatami mats; A Western-style room with a double bed to meet your different needs. If you are staying with children or the elderly, please note that the handrails must be pulled up and down the stairs. In addition, it is very family-friendly, and children love to sleep on tatami mats and can roll and play as much as they want.
The kitchen is fully equipped with tableware, cups, tea sets, coffee machines, microwaves, etc., so you can prepare a cozy breakfast for your family or enjoy authentic Kyoto delicacies nearby.
About a 5-minute walk is FESCO, a medium-sized supermarket that sells fresh fruits and vegetables and food.
The nearest bus stop is a 3-minute walk away, making it easy to access various attractions in Kyoto.
The unique Japanese garden and bathroom connection allow you to enjoy the flavors of Kyomachi while taking a bath.
The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and clean air facilities, as well as a heater in winter.

Child Policy
: Children under 6 years old do not occupy a bed and are free of charge; Children aged 6-12 need to occupy a bed and are charged half the price of adults; Children over 12 years old will be charged at the adult rate.

Terms
of Service1. During your stay in a machiya, please be sure to take care of the personal and property safety of you and your accompanying passengers, and if any injury or loss occurs, you will be responsible and responsible for it.
2. To ensure your comfort and safety, please comply with the following terms and conditions:
(1) It is prohibited to use firearms that may cause fire in the premises of the Hidden Saiganji Temple.
(2) Smoking is prohibited within the premises of the temple.
(3) Since Tsukakuin Saiganji Temple is located in a residential area for ordinary residents, any noise and other behaviors that may cause inconvenience to the surrounding neighbors are prohibited.
(4) Cooking is allowed in the temple, but open flames, such as candles, are not allowed.
(5) It is prohibited to engage in other negative behaviors such as gambling in the temple; Visitors are prohibited from entering the room, and they are not allowed to move, replace, or take out of the Hidden Saiganji Temple, or use them for other purposes other than designated purposes.
(6) It is forbidden to install other items on the house itself and its equipment, or to move its equipment to other locations.
(7) Please use the equipment in the house according to the prompt label, if there is any uncertainty, please contact the staff of the house as soon as possible to understand how to use it, do not touch the place without the prompt label, if there is any damage to the interior of the room and facilities, you need to compensate yourself.
(8) Please keep the key properly after moving into the house, and if you lose the key, you will be compensated.
(9) Shoes are not allowed on the tatami mats.
(10) If hard-to-treat stains or oil stains occur on the sheets and sheets due to eating and drinking in bed, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
(11) Items and facilities in the room can only be used free of charge during the stay and cannot be taken away at will.
(12) When bathing, please adjust the water temperature according to the instructions in the house to avoid burns.
(13) Please take care of the elderly and children traveling with you, do not climb the window sill on the second floor of the house, and do not play in the room.
(14) Please be careful when going up and down the stairs, hold the stair handrails tightly, and pay attention to the safety of your feet to prevent slipping and falling.
(15) Guests with children must take care of their children and do not leave minors alone in the room.
