Tolles Familienhaus am Großen Silbernen See

Modernisiertes Haus mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern, in dem bis zu 13 Personen bequem schlafen können. Das größte Schlafzimmer wurde kürzlich zu einem Schlafraum für Kinder mit 5 Schlafplätzen umgebaut. Ideales Haus in einem ruhigen Teil des Sees für ein Angel- oder Damenwochenende. Fantastische Aussicht auf den See und Annehmlichkeiten, die Ihren Aufenthalt angenehm und unvergesslich machen. Big Silver ist ein 200 Hektar großer, gefütterter See, in dem es reichlich Barsche und Panfische im Norden gibt. Der Pier bietet Platz für zwei Fischerboote mit einer Landung in der Nähe. Kommt mit allem Bettzeug, Handtüchern, zwei Seekajaks, zwei Standup-Paddle-Boards und Schwimmwesten. Unbegrenztes Highspeed-WLAN sowie ein Smart-TV sind inbegriffen. Die Garage hat einen zusätzlichen Kühlschrank und Deck hat einen großen Gasgrill und einen großen Weber-Grill. Pontonboot gegen Aufpreis erhältlich.

Fantastic Stay! This was our family's 3rd summer vacation in this home, and we simply love our stays here. The view of the lake is spectacular, and we had great weather all week to be outside enjoying it. Frank is an incredibly friendly and responsive host. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements for the 9 of us, and we love the open kitchen, dining, living room. We spent long days on the boat dock, floating and swimming, and thoroughly enjoyed having access to the pontoon boat. A great family vacation home!

Our favorite part was the setting on Silver Lake which is absolutely beautiful! The pier was nice and big and had lounge chairs to use which was great! We brought a jet ski and were able to use a lift for it which was so nice! We also rented the owner's pontoon boat which we enjoyed so much for boat rides all day and always after dinner for beautiful sunsets rides! We liked the gas stove, refrigerator, big countertop and extra big table for family meals. It was nice having the bunk room and bedroom and big bathroom and laundry room all together for one couple and 3 kids to have their own area. The bedroom and bathroom in front were both small but okay for one older couple. Carpet and flooring were nice and seemed newer in cottage. Bedding and towels were nice and very clean. Fine tune dusting and cleaning could have been better. We had fabulous weather our entire stay so we enjoyed the stay and being on the lake so much!

Fall weekend getaway

Enjoyed my short fall get away at the family retreat on Silver Lake. The home was comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful view of lake. Great deck to further enjoy the view. Close to several great restaurants in the area. Even though it was windy and a couple of light showers on a couple of days, found it very relaxing to just sit, read and watch beautiful scenery of the lake and surrounding trees.

Disappointing

This property is old and just worn out. The reviews and photos we read were not what we experienced and we actually ended up leaving early. The price was way too high for the quality of the rental.For a bunch of guys on a fishing trip it would be fine. For 8 adults including elderly parents, it’s NOT a perfect multigenerational property. The stairs to the dock were narrow and the concrete wall was falling in. The air conditioning was window only. The water pressure in the smaller bathroom was very light and we noticed that it just wasn’t clean. I’ve stayed in many rentals over the last few years and have never had a negative experience until now. I’ve never written a negative review, but if others who stayed here had written more accurately, we never would have rented this place.It was just so disappointing overall. I did share this with the host. He was very communicative and responsive. If there was something he could have done, he would have. It was the overall condition of the place so not really anything he could do in the moment.Not a good fit for what we needed.

Relaxing getaway

The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We had a lovely time hanging around, and on the boat. The fish were biting and the lake was not too busy to pull the kids on the tube. Frank, the host, was quick to reply with any questions we had during our stay. Will definitely consider another visit!

Wonderful time on Big Silver

The lake was amazing - clean and able to fully recreate! The lake was busy on the weekend, but slowed down during the week. Great view from the deck - a lot of steps to get down to the water front which was not an issue for us. The home had everything we needed! We all had a wonderful time! Fantastic week at this home. . . . AGAIN!

Our family stayed here for our summer reunion 2022 and loved it. We returned for 2023 and it felt like returning to our home away from home. There were eight of us, and the house met our needs again beautifully. Frank is friendly and responsive, making sure our arrival and home access went smoothly. Instructions for access to the house, boat and garage are clear and easy to follow. The kitchen is really well-stocked for cooking and serving bigger groups. From the deck overlooking the lake, the view is stunning. We spent the majority of our time on the deck enjoying the scenic view, or down on the dock swimming and paddle boarding. We rented the pontoon boat available with the house, and it adds an awesome outdoor sitting area when parked on the dock. Of course, the pontoon boat also allowed us access to all of beautiful Silver Lake and we enjoyed being out on the water every day. Highly recommend to other groups.

Comfortable well-equipped cottage on beautiful lake

My wife and I shared the cottage with children and their young kids. The most memorable quality was the tranquil sense we experienced on this lake. I expected much more boat traffic and was surprised by the minimal activity which provided entertainment, be it jet ski, tubers, water skiers or families just touring the lake in a pontoon boat, all viewed from the deck right off the living/dining area. The family enjoyed the dock for fishing and swimming to the raft in very clear water. I have never experienced a property so well equipped, be it towels, kitchen items, games, access to laundry. We would book again down the road.

Great Place!

Great place and location. Fantastic view of the lake. The deck was great and the dock was perfect. The house was well stocked with essentials. Our only concern is the floors had some level/bump issues for people with balance issues.

Wonderful lake house with great view of Big Silver Lake

My family enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is nicely updated and has great Lake access and a wonderful water view right off the deck of the house. Great hosts greeted us on arrival. You will have all the comforts of home as the kitchen is super well equipped and in great working order and plenty of seating for family meals, games and relaxing. We rented the pontoon for a special treat. We’ll be back!

Beautiful retreat for family reunion

Our family had a stellar week here. The house is more spacious than the pictures suggest, making it a comfortable place for 11 people to share. Immediately it felt like home away from home. Well stocked kitchen, with plenty of bedding and towels. The deck overlooking Silver Lake provides the perfect outdoor living room and scenic view of the lake. Easy lake access down switchback stair case. We rented a pontoon boat and it served as a floating living room right on the water, offering great family social time tethered at the dock and out on the lake. We all agreed this house on this lake made for a magical family bonding week. A place we would gladly return to.

Summer Vacation

While this is an older cottage, it has all you need to enjoy your time at the lake. The view of the lake from the deck is great. The area is good for older children and adults as there is not a beach for little ones to play on. The owner has steps into the lake to make easy access. The lake does get deep fast so great for swimming and floating. Because we enjoy the water, we have our own floats and rafts but it appeared like there was plenty of water toys supplied by the owner. The owner was very responsive to any question and concerns we had and immediately responded to us. Thanks Frank.

Family vacation

Stairs were hard on my 74 year old body, need to rent with much fewer stairs but haven’t seen any thing available on silver lake for the week, in my budget
