Stylish, spacious and quiet apartment near Chadstone, express train to city
Welcome to our spacious, modern two bedroom two bathroom apartment in Murrumbeena, Melbourne.
It’s in a safe, modern and quiet building, from where you can be in the heart of the city in 20 minutes by train, grab fresh coffee and bread from the bakery a few steps down the road, and shop at Chadstone - the biggest shopping centre (600+ shops!) in the southern hemisphere within walking distance.
The space
Large two-bedroom ground floor apartment, stylishly furnished and with 55" smart TV and unlimited wifi. We have a large private courtyard accessed from the living room and both bedrooms, and the apartment is in a quiet, safe and private block.
The apartment location is fantastic - we are two minutes walk into Murrumbeena Village (cafes, station, bakery, restaurants, pharmacy plus many other shops), a 15-20 min walk to Chadstone Shopping Centre (or a five minute drive / bus ride), and under 20 minutes on the express train line into Melbourne CBD via stylish Richmond (stop for the MCG / sports precinct) and South Yarra.
If you are visiting family or friends by the beach or in the hills, the bayside suburbs of Brighton and Hampton are close by, as are the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley.
The apartment has one queen bedroom (with high quality linens, toppers etc) and one double bedroom, and both bathrooms have walk in showers and toilets.
The master has a large walk-in robe with ample storage, and the double bedroom has fitted sliding robes and a desk / work area.
There is a split system heating / cooling unit in the main living area, and sliding doors from the bedrooms with fly screens for the warmer months. We have a 'working zone' desk set up in the second bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking or just making up a cheese board.
You will have access to our secure parking spot in a gated garage under the building. There is also plenty of free on street parking, 4 hour visitor parking under the building.
Our place is set up for comfortable living, and we have lived in it ourselves so we know that you will feel at home.
As hosts of over 400 stays in our Daylesford cottage, you will be well looked after as guests, and we are easy to reach if you need anything.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire apartment and courtyard, and can request access to secure parking under the building at no additional cost.
Other things to note
Please note: the property is in a quiet block, and not suitable for parties. Excess noise before 8am after 10pm is not allowed.
Unfortunately to make sure we can continue to provide the best accomodation, we have made the difficult decision not to host children under 12 due to the suitability of the space and proximity to older neighbours, and several incidents of damage from previous younger guests.
