Friend Vacation

Beautiful property, great option for large families or friend groups looking to cook and stay in. Great views, easy check in and out. Great accommodations with daily trash and fresh linen options. Perfect for large groups. And the host answered all questions quickly and thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Awesome House for Anyone

We stayed 2 nights in this house and had an absolute blast. We had adults from 20-30 in the house and it accommodated everyone perfectly. We will definitely be back this year if not next.

Weekend without kids

We had a group of six couples that stayed for a weekend. The place was great! It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. Heather responded to my email quickly and she was very nice. We will be back!

Great Family Getaway

We rented this cabin for an extended family reunion over Labor Day. The cabin was clean, very well stocked, and had tons of room. We really loved the large table where we could all enjoy meals together and gather around to play games as a large group. There was also plenty of room to get away and have some time to yourself as well. We cooked two meals a day while staying there and found the kitchen to be nicely stocked with everything we needed. It was a perfect home away from home. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Cabin

We absolutely loved everything about this cabin. We had 10 adults and 7 kids with plenty of space to spare. We enjoyed using every amenity that the cabin offered, along with the pool and basketball court at the resort. We cooked every meal with ease and loved having the extra appliances and space in the kitchen. The owner is amazing to work with and the people who work the front desk at the resort were very welcoming. If we come back to the area again, we will definitely stay at this beautiful cabin.

Awesome Mountain Getaway

This is a beautiful home, online pictures do not do it justice! This home is so spacious, rooms were adequate for each couple. We loved all the updates in the bathroom and the huge kitchen. Which quickly became our congregating area. Because this was run by a resort, extra towels and extra items for kitchen was a phone call away, so convenient. Thank you so much Heather for allowing my family to make unforgettable memories.

Great cabin! Wonderful staff at Oak Haven Resort!

I highly recommend this cabin. We vacationed here for a week. 2 Families....4 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids enjoyed the game room in the lowest level (arcade game, pool, ping pong, hot tub). Fantastic table on the enclosed back deck for our large group. Oak Haven staff members were outstanding!!!! Came out immediately to provide extra light bulb, adjust hot tub temperature, etc. Wish I had this level of support back at my real home!!! Kids used walking trail to get to basketball court and playground.

Great "home" for our TN Teen Trip!

Our church youth group greatly enjoyed this cabin! I wish our stay had been longer …this was the kind of place we could enjoy just “hanging out”. Large enough so we’re not tripping over each other and can find places for a little ‘quiet time’ (porch space is very nice!), but cozy enough to group up ‘n talk, or play pool/foosball/arcade/ping-pong and enjoy friendships. We had plenty of room to meet as a group each day, and the kitchen was well equipped and central in the cabin to accommodate hungry teens. The owner was fantastic to deal with and very helpful. The cabin is away from the traffic of Pigeon Forge, yet within minutes of all its attractions. We would definitely consider a return stay in the future. We appreciate Heather & her family opening their home to our group!

not sure it was worth the money

The cabin was beaytiful & presented well. Well-stocked with basics. The 2 basement bedrooms could have been cleaner; lots of cobwebs/dead bugs in windowsills and bathrooms. Overall we had a great time with family but there were a few "issues" with cabin - repairmen in and out for several hrs to fix air conditioning, water leak in living room that we had to catch with a bowl after moving the couch,stray dog laying on porch (which office staff seemed unconcerned about but we were not comfortable letting children outside). As mentioned we had great family time but not sure we would spend that much money to stay here again.

Home Away from HOME

WOW!! Where do i begin........first off I would like to state that i have stayed in other cabins in the area previous to this visit. We had max capacity in this cabin, seven sisters and their kids ranging in age 1 - 30. This cabin is the BEST one yet and I will tell you why. I'm petty but the cabin in itself was very spacious well organized in a GREAT location and there was nothing misleading from the website. But what impressed me the most was the fact that there were enough utensils, dishes, pots/pans, coffee makers, crock pots, toaster oven, blender, mixer, measuring cups/spoons, and anything you would keep in your own home it was there. Now some may think all it took was plenty of household items to make me happy but imagine trying to cook for a large family in a starter set of pots and there aren't enough utensils to cook/eat with it can be VERY frustrating. We had towel and trash service daily. The games/gameroom kept the kids thoroughly entertained, the high speed internet was perfect for those who cannot leave the TECH WORLD behind, cable service was another +, seating arrangements were perfect the huge dining tables, the large couches, the gas grill, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the porch swing and rocking chairs. The only issue we encountered was the ice machine on the refrigerator stopped working however, maintenance was called and he brought us two huge bags of ice so NO ISSUE after all. We had an AWESOME time and will return also, i WILL recommend to anyone headed to the area. If I could i would share some our family photos. Thanks again for a GREAT STAY!!! Easy to locate with GPS. Pool and playground in the resort area was another plus for kids and adults.

Family trip 2022

We had our family of 17 stay at this cabin and it was amazing!! There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone and so much to entertain the whole family! The huge table and kitchen were amazing for us to cook and eat together… kitchen was stocked extremely well! I only had a few questions and the property manager always responded within the hour with the answers and it was awesome being on the resort so if we needed anything we could just run to the office and ask. Hot tub was great… only thing I could say is if you have little ones that need a bathtub there is only the big jacuzzi tub but it worked fine 😊 we loved this cabin and would definitely return!!

Large, comfortable house.

House easily accommodated all 12 of us. Kitchen was well equipped, although there could have been more cooking utensils. Two fridges, 4 ovens, 2 coffee makers, two dishwashers, and tons of counter space to prepare large meals. Hot tub was clean and at the perfect temperature. Bedrooms were cozy, and everyone had their own bathrooms. Only negative was dirty floors that turned the soles of our feet black, but that was only a minor issue. Overall, great place, and everyone enjoyed their stay.

Great trip to the mountains!

We stayed here for a week in June 2021 with my extended family. The kids loved the resort pool and ping pong table at the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook meals as well as plenty of space. The cabin is convenient to grocery stores, etc. which was nice. The service at the resort was great with daily trash pick up, clean towels and helpful office.

Spacious cabin, can accommodate large group

Stayed here as a group of 19, most were able to stay in bedrooms, a few were on pull out sofas. Overall the cabin worked well for our group, with plenty of parking and roomy enough for kids and adults to separate. The kitchen was excellent, with plenty of fridge and cooking space. Overall, we had a great time here.

Family getaway

We love all of room the cabin had and it was equiped with everything we needed. We had an amazing weekend with our family . We did have a couple of miner problems but they we taken care of very quickly and in no means damping any of our time. We we actually amazed at what fantasic service we got. We would all go back and stay here again.

Relaxing getaway

Though in the midst of a planned community, it felt secluded. The cabin is spacious, clean, and well appointed. Cooking for 25 (we rented 2 cabins, but all meals were at ours) was easy in the spacious kitchen with 4 ovens and 2 stovetops. We also spent a day on the water at the nearby lake. Wonderful stay, albeit too short.

Patrick and Heather have been married 35 years with 2 grown children and a 19 year old.! We live in the Southeast Wisconsin area where Patrick is the retired Director of the YMCA and Heather also helps people plan where they want to vacation and find an affordable resort. We began our journey into the world of Vacation Rentals when we purchased a timeshare back in 2000 when our surprise blessing was born. We sold our pop up trailer because Heather refused to vacation in a trailer with a newborn! We took a vacation to Tennessee and absolutely fell in love with the area and decided to build a cabin. It started out as a four bedroom but we remodeled it into what you see today. Tennessee has become almost a second home to us. Currently we rent out the 7 BR Cabin although we enjoy it ourselves about 4 times a year. We enjoy sharing what God has given us with families like yours. We would love to hear about your stay so we hope that our guests will write in our guest book during their stay. Feel free to ask any questions or give us any comments.
