Not too shabby

A great place to stay! The shower was a little sketchy and kinda hard to understand, I was either freezing or melting. The floors all felt really dirty and it could get really really warm during the day. But the beds were nice. I would probably stay here again. It's not as nice as a hotel but as a home base for a vacation it was great

This apartment worked out great for our purposes in LA. It was close to UCLA and Westwood. The fact that it was two bedrooms and had a cute kitchen, really helped us spread out and feel comfortable while there. Also, very thankful for the parking spot in the back of apartment vs street parking. The apartment was a little difficult to find, so it could be better marked, and the stairs were a little old and scary, but there's not much you could do about that. All in all, great value and comforable stay!

Old building, cockroaches, poor communication

Very old building— AC/fans barely worked, broken window/screen in one of the rooms. We found 2 cockroaches in the Vrbo, one was dead in the kitchen. The Vrbo initially wasn’t cleaned/beds weren’t made/dirty towels and bathrooms. We reached out to the host who did end up sending a cleaner (took an hour or two) to fix it up, but the next day we found a live cockroach in the bathroom. Poor communication with the host after expressing concerns with the safety/cleanliness of the Vrbo. Deprecated place that did not feel like a clean place to stay

Decaying, broken down, and unsafe.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We’ve tried to get a refund for this reservation, both from the host and VRBO. The host has been unresponsive, and VRBO has not been able to help us. Basically, this unit is a broken down, very old building. Pieces were missing from the windows, so air could flow right in. We saw a roach on the stairs. There was hair on the ground and stains on the chairs. The furniture seemed extremely cheap. We took one look at the place, then got right back in the car and left and got a hotel for the night. We will not be renting from VRBO again after this horrible experience.
