This is a great location with easy access to all the major attractions in San Diego. Within about 5-25 minutes you can be hiking, shopping, dining, golfing to downtown Gas Lamp, Hillcrest, to the beach, major sporting events, San Diego Zoo and the Aquarium, and the Conference Center or Airport.

As you enter, you will cross the threshold into the living room with a view of the outdoor living area and pool. The massive kitchen/dining area is just to your right. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths in the main house. The ADU welcomes you to an additional bedroom, kitchen, bath and living room with a queen sofa bed. There’s a laundry room if you need and free parking (2 or maybe 3 smaller cars on the driveway and free street parking)
The amazing spacious backyard can be used as additional living space. We have an ample seating area with a fire pit, room for games and a new gas grill. As a reminder, unfortunately the pool can not heated.

Guest Access:
To ensure your convenience and security, our home is equipped with a smart system and the front door is accessed by a code and smart lock. The code and all relevant details for your arrival will be provided through the booking platform on the morning of check-in.

The Neighborhood:
You will enjoy a gorgeous view of the popular Cowles Mountain, especially from the back yard. The higher up you go on the hill (at your own risk!) the prettier it is. And if you’re into hiking there are miles of trails. You can even walk about .3 miles to a trailhead. At night you’ll see flashes of light all over the mountainside from hikers who went up to enjoy the sunset.
The neighborhood in general is so friendly and very safe. There’s an assortment of families, couples and original owners. All who will probably wave or say hi as you pass them.

Getting Around:
The home has a driveway with space for three cars, and street parking is free and plentiful.

Other Things to Note:
*We kindly ask you to remove your shoes upon entering the house. Aside from sanitary reasons, it’ll help preserve the wood floors and the white rugs.

*There is a noise ordinance that must be respected. 9pm on weekdays and 12 on weekends and holidays. Common sense prevails. We’ve never had any complaints from guests or neighbors.

*NO illegal drugs or firearms allowed. You will be immediately evicted with no refund.

*Although we are dog lovers we don’t allow pets due to so many people being allergic to dander.
However we also know that occasionally a pet sitter may cancel on you at the last minute. Just call me to discuss. We can consider allowing your fur baby for a $150 pet fee under certain guidelines.
But, NO CATS are ever allowed.
