Good location but listing needs updating
Our family of 8 stayed here in March. It’s a convenient location and the kitchen/dining/living room is good for groups. The pool table was a hit, too.
The property listing was not accurate and there are things you should know before booking so you can be sure this will work for your needs.
This home is actually split into thirds with tenants living in the other two. The first night the downstairs tenant kept their tv on all night so there was muffled noise in the master bedroom. This was resolved after a text to the property manager. It was not clear from the original posting that this was a unit.
There is no hot tub as listed - this is actually referencing the bath tub. The master is a jack/jill setup. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and the bathroom is across the house out the front door and through the laundry room. Not great for people with mobility issues.
The kitchen’s nice but only has the basics. If you are planning to cook plan to bring things you’ll need like a good pan, griddle, etc. We reported the coffee maker was broken so it could be fixed. There’s a large fridge/freezer. We bought paper towels and sponges.
The home was not clean when we arrived. The prior tenants had been there a month and there wasn’t enough time for the house cleaner to finish. We had to re-wash all of the towels. The floors and windows were dirty. I asked for a refund on our cleaning fee and was told it would be processed but never received it.
