Please Note:
This is a daylight basement mother in law apartment within a larger home. There is a separate unit upstairs, so some noise is to be expected. The low price is meant to reflect this.
For many reasons, we cannot accommodate early check ins. If you need to check in early, you'll need to book the previous night.
There is a kitchenette, but not a full kitchen. There are tools to make doing dishes easier, but the only sink is in the bathroom.
Though there is no AC, this unit does stay cool because it is mostly underground.
Because this is a large home split into two units, the heating is not traditional. This unit uses wall mounted eco heaters and the gas fire place that’s controlled with a remote.
Because the air ventilation system runs through both the upstairs and downstairs unit, if the guests upstairs are using the wood burning fireplace, you will smell it. This is only prevalent during the cold months, but if the smell of a wood burning fire bothers you, this may not be a good fit for you.
Though we clean vigorously, if you have a serious pet allergy, this unit may not be for you.
We use scented products.
There are stairs in the unit. If you have limited mobility, this may not be the unit for you.
Dogs are welcome, but we do not allow cats. There is a two dog max. All breeds are welcome. However, if your dog is reactive or does a lot of barking, this may not be the unit for you.
