21' high ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows look out to Monterey Bay. Hardwood flooring, a loft area with sky lights and a dedicated media room.

Custom wood, marble and tile make it a stunning home. Master suite with large walk-in closet and views.

Your hosts have provided the services of Carmel Coast Estate, Inc a locally owned and operated full service Real Estate and Property Management company. Your Property Managers are available by cellular phone, text messaging and email during your visit.

We clean our homes with hospital grade, environmentally friendly, pet & child safe cleaning solutions. Our primary cleaning agent kills 99.99% of all pathogens known to man. If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a luxury treehouse, this masterwork of a home hits all the right notes: an all-redwood exterior, astonishing heights, and compellingly layered decks and platforms from which to gaze out at the treetops of Skyline Forest and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

Being here feels like living in a piece of art; it’s an unforgettable, singular experience in itself, to say nothing of its central location and proximity to all the other destinations you long to experience on the Monterey Peninsula and in surrounding communities: Carmel-by-the-Sea, with its rich array of shops and fine restaurants; Pebble Beach, with its iconic landmarks and world-renowned golf courses; Carmel Valley, with its dramatic vistas and vineyards; or Big Sur, with its natural beauty and celebrated literary and artistic history.

Linda Vista translates to “Pretty View,” and this is the understatement of the century, as guests realize quickly upon arrival. The heart of the home is an immense, open great room, with soaring, pitched ceilings and an entire wall stretching two stories high and composed solely of windows pointing out to the forest and the coastline.

Architecturally magnificent, “Alluring Haven” impresses with its use of height, angles, and lines to create visually stunning living spaces that feel utterly modern and luxurious, while also undeniably warm and inviting. The main hallway has the chic and sophistication of a contemporary art gallery, its white-gray, textured flooring gleaming in the sunshine that streams in from a skylight above.

Outside, a wrap-around deck – one of several entrancing outdoor living spaces – is an ideal spot for sunbathing or having lunch. Your group’s chef will love preparing all your favorite dishes in our spacious, fully accoutered gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Enjoy a meal in one of two dining areas, or on the smaller deck off the kitchen outfitted with a table and grill.

Those looking for at-home entertainment will find an abundance of options here at “Alluring Haven.” The entire upstairs – a wood-accented and lined open area from which you can look down at the great room or hallway, or stare out at the view – is one big game room, the star of which is a poker table. On the main level, there’s a grotto-like media room, ingeniously designed and lit to captivating effect. One wall of stone faces an opposite wall of three set-in curved mirrors that enhance the space in an evocative, mysterious fashion. It’s just the sort of space you dream about when you settle in, whisky in hand, to watch a classic film.

Downstairs bedrooms at “Alluring Haven” are generous in size and luxuriantly decorated. The primary suite gives way to yet another wrap-around deck, from which you can step down to explore an immaculate, private hillside garden.

The Neighborhood:
The Monterey Peninsula is different than any other part of California. Here, time slows, the architecture is humble (with the exception of the homes in Pebble Beach), and the lifestyle is the perfect synthesis of SoCal laid back and NorCal sophisticated. On the northern side of the peninsula, the town of Monterey draws most of the tourists, while farther south, Carmel-by-the-Sea lures the easygoing wealthy set. Tremendous price tags on real estate helps maintain the small-community atmosphere along Monterey's jaw-dropping coastline.
