Beautiful Home with a Beautiful View
Our family (two adults, 3 little girls 6 and under, and our dog) stayed at The Salty Sailor during our girls' spring break for four nights. When we arrived, the first thing we noted was the wonderful view of the water right across the street. The home was very clean upon our arrival, and it is tastefully appointed.
The large master bedroom upstairs has two king size beds, which allowed our little girls and us to all stay in the same room. We especially liked this because even though the door to the pool had a child safety lock it prevented our girls from getting too adventurous at night. The bathrooms were very nice with large tile showers.
We woke up each morning to wonderful sunrises and watched the boats go by (there is a boat landing right down the street). Our girls absolutely loved the pool. It had a shallow end where our two younger girls could play and a deeper end (a little over 5') for our older girl to play in. Even though it was a little cooler that week than we expected (low 70's), the pool was heated which made it very comfortable (just not when you got out).
We also took our dog on walks around the neighborhood each day. All of the neighbors were very friendly and even gave us recommendations of things to do in the area. The owners were also very responsive to questions throughout the process.
We cannot recommend this home enough! Our girls wanted to stay even longer, and I would not be surprised if we find our way back to this home again in the future.
