This newly renovated home in the beachside community of San Antonio del Mar is the ideal vacation home, designed for relaxation. Watch the sunset from your own private jacuzzi on the balcony & enjoy amazing views from the new rooftop deck. Beach access is a short walk from the home (within the community). There's a shared pool & tennis courts too. You'll find restaurants, a bar & a mini-mart within the community & downtown Rosarito (Papas & Beer, nightlife, etc.) is just a 10 minute drive south.

The kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a bar where friends and family can sit and chat. The kitchen opens onto a light, airy living room with a view of the islands off the coast and a modern but relaxing beach house vibe. You'll probably want to spend most of your time on the balcony, whether its relaxing in the private jacuzzi, grilling your dinner, or enjoying an outdoor meal.

We just added a rooftop deck where you can enjoy the ocean view to its full potential. Great place to relax & unwind.

Each of the 2 bedrooms has its own bathroom with shower. One bedroom has a King bed, an ensuite entry to the bathroom, and a Smart TV. The other bedroom has a bunk bed, with a double bed on the bottom and single on top. This room also has a Queen-sized sleeper sofa. This room has its own bathroom as well.

Both bathrooms were recently remodeled & are in great shape. The WiFi works well, and the TVs are Smart Tvs so you can watch Netflix, etc.

Things you should know to make sure this is the right place for you:

-The house is located in the community of San Antonio del Mar, which has cobblestone streets and a beachy vibe. The streets are a little bumpy, so be prepared. I drive on them in a sedan all the time--just take it slow.

-The house is located 10-15 minutes north of downtown Rosarito, Papas & Beer, etc. It's best to have a car to get around.

-The pools and tennis courts in the community are shared; the jacuzzi is yours alone (on the back patio of the home). Public areas have been open but are subject to closures due to local COVID regulations. Beach access remains open.

Guests have private access to entire home and balcony, including jacuzzi.

I live nearby and am happy to share recommendations for local restaurants, activities, etc. I'm just a call or text away if anything comes up.

San Antonio del Mar is a gated community with pools, tennis courts, beach access, a park, and restaurants, including Conrado's (great breakfasts), Mata Ashta (sushi and live music at night), and Mi Casa Supper Club (upscale dining weekend brunch with spectacular view). Real del Mar golf course is right across the highway.

I recommend having a car because the community of San Antonio del Mar is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Rosarito. You can walk to the beach within the community, and to some local restaurants, but you'll need a vehicle to go much farther. You can around in Taxis or Uber, and I'm happy to provide you with some phone numbers to local taxis. That said, it's much more convenient to have your own transportation.

We are pet friendly :) We charge an additional $50 pet fee for the additional cleaning procedures we employ between guests when pets have been on the property. If you're planning to bring a pet, please let us know & we'll send a separate request for the pet cleaning fee.

We have a portable propane heater that we offer on an optional basis if you would like to stay extra warm. There is an additional $20 fee for this amenity in order to fill the propane tank.

The following policy applies to stays of 2 weeks or more:

• For monthly rentals, for each week after the first week we charge a $60 USD cleaning fee which includes servicing and treating the Jacuzzi water, and cleaning the interior of the home. We’ll work with you to select a convenient day, and it will only take a couple of hours. Our cleaning service will provide you with fresh sheets and towels each week to make your stay more comfortable.
Check-in is anytime after 3pm, and we ask our guests to check out by 11am to give us time to thoroughly clean the home for our next guests.

The evening before your check-in, I'll send you the address, directions, and check-in instructions, including your code that will give you keyless entry to the front door.

Jacuzzi

The jacuzzi operates with a digital keypad that is simple to use. You can set the temperature you desire on the keypad and then hold down the set button to lock in that temp. It’s important to keep the cover on while heating it up and while you’re not using it to retain the heat. When you are done using the jacuzzi, please turn the temperature down to 80 degrees and replace the top. That will allow you to heat it up in a shorter amount of time when you want to use it again.

Beach Access

If you walk one long block south from the house, you'll get to a street called Huracan; head toward the ocean and you'll find the community pool & tennis courts. From there, you'll see a dirt path that leads down to the beach. The community has just installed gates that you need to unlock with a keycard so be sure to bring it with you—you’ll fine the key card in the binder with info about the house in the entry table.

Community Pool Access

The pools are now open (although that can change based on local COVID restrictions). The pool is located a couple blocks south of the house, near the access to the beach. To use the pool, you should bring the laminated card AND the key card that you'll find in the Welcome binder in the home. You’ll need the key card to get into the pool area, and the laminated card in case the security come by to verify that everyone in the pool is entitled to be there. If you forget it, you should also be able to give my name and address (803 Avenida Farallon), but it's best to bring the card to avoid any issues.

Tennis Courts

You'll have access to community tennis courts. To use one, you'll need to take the laminated card that you'll find in the Welcome book to the guards and the South entry to the community. They'll ask you to leave the card and will give you the keys to the tennis courts. Once you finish, please return the keys and pick up the card.

Breakfast Tips

For breakfast your first morning, I recommend Cafe Conrado, a local breakfast spot right at the south entry to the San Antonio del Mar community (near the park). There's a rooftop patio with a nice view of the ocean and good breakfast. They'll also deliver to the home if you don't want to go out. If you're there on a weekend, Mi Casa Supper Club--which is also right near the south entry to San Antonio del Mar--offers more expensive breakfast/brunch options in a beautiful setting.

We do ask that you don't bring outside guests to the property, and that you respect our neighbors by being quiet after 10pm. If you're doing to smoke, please smoke outside.

Pets

We are pet friendly & are happy to host you with your dog(s). We ask that you keep your pets off the furniture to avoid damage.

If you are found with additional guests on the property, you will be charged double the normal extra person fee for each additional guest. Same with pets--if you are bringing a pet, please be sure it is reflected on your reservation. You can modify your reservation to include a pet or to change the number of guests any time.
