Located across the street from the Warren Wilson College campus with access to the river, trails, and parks. My home is a 1-level, comfortable, sprawling, 2300 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1937 farmhouse on 1 acre. With mature landscaping, big decks, and various quirky updates and additions added over the generations, my home offers space for everyone. It has been decorated with mid-century eclectic art and comfortable furnishings. If there is anything missing that you need that would make your stay more comfortable, just let me know. I am very open to suggestions. Enjoy cooking? I have a chef's kitchen with 2 sinks and 2 gas ovens. There is a small breakfast room, a TV room with a 50" Smart TV, an easy-to-operate gas fireplace, recliners, and a pull-out sleeper couch for guests. My favorite room is the great room with vaulted ceilings and windows on every wall. There is also a dining room table that can seat 6. There are oodles of art and regional books and lots of classic board games and crafts for downtime. I love doing my morning stretches in this room as the sun rises, or on the slate patio just off this room between the magnolia trees. Below the great room, you will find our ping pong room, accessed from a brick driveway, underneath the trellis. Another favorite feature of my house highlighted by guests is the extra-large 2+ person jacuzzi tub in the primary bedroom! This tub has lights and jets and stays really warm. The primary bedroom is quite large and has a king-sized, 4-post, teak bed as well as the large jacuzzi tub, toilet, and sink. There is a walk-in closet and a separate work area with a large desk next to the French doors leading to the back deck. The "Tigre Room" (tiger theme) has a king-size bed and a trundle sleeper couch and a large closet with shelves.
