Late check-outs are great with a later flight...and works out when there is NOT a check-in by another guest later that same day of check-out. Mauna Lani exquisitely located along the beautiful leeward (west) coast of the Big Island Hawaii with a drier climate and greater chance of sunshine than the east/windward coast location of Hilo. About 22 miles north of the Kailua-Kona Airport in the gorgeous Waikaloa & Mauna Lani Resort Area.

This Fairways Villa is professionally decorated & has an elevated, unobstructed view of the golf course with spectacular sunsets. The home stands on a perfect angle to the trade winds, allowing you to use the front and back screen doors and windows for a wonderful, cool and natural cross breeze. There is also central air conditioning throughout.



The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat with a comfortable Cal King bed. It has its own spacious sitting area and a lanai overlooking the golf course. Sink into the luxurious lanai lounge chairs and enjoy a quiet drink away from it all. The second bedroom hosts two twin size beds and has its own en suite.

A large, beautiful “lagoon” pool is a 2 min walk away, with a shallow area for the children. There is also a hot tub and fitness room onsite.

Your stay will include a Pass Card to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club, a 3 min drive away. It is a sparkling white sand beach enclosed by coral reef and is very safe for children. It is lifeguarded so while the kids are having fun swimming and snorkeling, you may enjoy a cool drink at the restaurant overlooking the beach. It is stunning and picturesque.

Another beach is a 10 minute walk away at Fairmont Orchid hotel. Next to it is a turtle sanctuary – a delight for the children.

If your family enjoys boogie boarding or surfing – head over to Hapuna Beach – a 10 minute drive away. The waves here are perfect for boogie boarding. Boogie boards are included in the rental.

If you like to BBQ – your own private BBQ is located on the lower lanai. Put your feet up in the lounge chairs after dinner and soak in the spectacular sunset views and the gently swaying palm trees.

World class tennis facilities and golf are located right in the Mauna Lani Resort and at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel. They have tennis clinics most days at 9 am. Enjoy.

Which course would you prefer at Mauna Lani? The South Course tends to be more popular of the two courses at Mauna Lani because of the scenic nature & has holes touching the ocean. The North Course travels more inland

Hula Show in the Pavilion on Wednesdays!
Enjoy a free one-hour hula show every Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Coronation Pavilion. The show performed by a local halau features both kahiko (traditional) and modern hula. Hula tells Hawaii’s story with the graceful hands of talented dancers. Experience the dancers up close and personal as they perform this intricate ancient art of dance and chant in a comfortable outdoor setting.
Queens' Marketplace Lei Making Workshop
Learn how to make your very own Puakalaunu (crown flower) lei from start to finish. The crown flower was Queen Liliuokalani’s favorite blossom. The enduring blossom was thought to resemble the royal crown, thus, its American namesake. The blossom also serves as the logo of Queens’ Marketplace. The significance of a lei can hold many meanings and can be given as a sign of respect, a token of love, a welcoming gesture and many more. Wear your lei home or gift it to someone you love. Limited to 15 persons on a first come, first served basis.

The Kings’ Shops is a luxury resort retail destination centrally located in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. The current retail mix includes Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, Tommy Bahama, Tori Richard, and more.
