Great Girl's Weekend

This house was the best for a quiet friends weekend. The house was quaint and cozy. The beds and pillow were extremely comfortable. Everything was in close proximity. The host was easy to communicate with and we loved the welcome gift that was left. We would definitely choose this house again.

Private, Peaceful Woodland Wonderland

Beautiful property and amazing modern home! Loved sitting on the deck and especially morning coffee on the front porch watching the squirrels play. The kitchen was made for a chef with professional level appliances and excellent knives. It was a pleasure to cook there. The bedrooms were large, the beds were very comfortable and the linens absolutely first class. Even though we were close to all amenities, it felt so isolated and peaceful. The sounds of the surrounding woods were amazing and relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this property to others. It was beyond 5 stars.

Weekend Trip

This property and house was perfect for my family! The house was clean, the owners responded very quickly, and getting into the house was easy. The beds were very comfortable and we loved enjoying time out on the deck and using the grill! We will definitely stay here again!

Every time we escape the city and breathe the fresh air of Reva, everyone feels less stressed and a huge weight just seems to fall off everyone's shoulders. The beauty of the surrounding area is spectacular. This is truly a special place and we want to share that feeling of becoming re-energized with you!

Welcome to the Honey Tree! This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath country house rests on a wooded knoll surrounded by the forest on 8 private acres in rural Culpeper County just across the border from Madison County. Its location 15 minutes south of Culpeper, VA, 30 minutes from Old Rag Mountain and the Blue Ridge, and within 15 minutes of multiple wineries, breweries, and distilleries makes this property a perfect destination for all four seasons. Upon your arrival, you will notice just how quiet the country can be - with no traffic noise, the sounds of nature greet you. Watch and listen to a variety of songbirds, hummingbirds, hawks and eagles, glimpse a passing deer in the forest or even spot an occasional black bear. Watch the honeybees as they pollinate and come in and out of their honey tree (a safe distance high up in the tree top in the backyard.) Hear the cows lowing in the nearby pasture. Watch the stars and reconnect with your loved ones. The outdoor space is a mixture of open grass and trees and is ideal for friend and family gatherings. Play a game of cornhole or flag football on the lawn. Let the kids slide and swing on the playset while you relax on the back deck and fire up the brand new propane grill. Find a quiet spot on the porch with its large 3 seat bench swing and 2 rocking chairs. Later, enjoy roasting marshmallows while relaxing by the firepit and sitting in the Adirondack chairs. Enjoy exploring the property, listening to the birds, and strolling down the private ½ mile gravel drive.

Many wedding venues and local events like festivals are close by. Graves Mountain Lodge (12 miles) offers trails, an apple festival, a music festival, and a farm to table restaurant. Nearby rivers are ideal for fishing and exploring. Swing from a rope into a local swimming hole in the Rose River! Local farms offer fresh fruit and vegetables and pick your own opportunities. The town of Culpeper with all its amenities and grocery stores mean that you are in the countryside, but are only a short drive to pick up gas, groceries, or a nice meal. Local outfitters are available for great kayaking experiences or guided river fishing. Old Rag trail is only 30 minutes away; a short drive and you can be up on Skyline drive and exploring new hiking trails and waterfalls.

Our home offers a stylish blend of farmhouse and mid-century modern decor; eco-friendly, sustainable hardwood furniture, a huge electric double oven with 5 burner gas stovetop, and all new bedding and linens ensure you have all the comforts of home! The hardwood floors made from reclaimed old barns from the area welcome you with a rustic feel. There is plenty of room for gatherings in the kitchen as the breakfast bar seats 4 and the dining room farmhouse table seats 8. In the great room, a floor-to-ceiling, stone fireplace accents the space. A new 65" Smart TV with streaming capability allows for group viewing. Two new AC units and HVAC system ensure you will be comfortable. Enjoy the pleasant-tasting well water and fresh feeling of taking a shower or spa bath with no smell of chlorine! Much attention has been given to the details in this house, from quality linens and comfortable mattresses down to the type of green cleaning products and natural soaps, dish soap and laundry detergent. Brand new king, queen, and 3 twin mattresses are all certified EcoPure. Absolutely no spraying of Round Up/ other pesticides occurs on this property!
