The Mariposa Pool House is a fun family getaway, perfectly located in the town of Mariposa. Relax in the oversized pool while enjoying peaceful mountain views. The location is perfect for those wanting easy access to Yosemite but also desire to be in town with the convenience of shops and restaurants.

The kids or kids at heart can play in a large game room and the adults can relax with beverages under the stars. You will want for nothing as every amenity has been accounted for.

The "Mariposa Pool House" has been freshly renovated to modern standards.

The house is a 3 bedroom house on a single level. The master bedroom features a king sized bed with memory foam mattress. The second bedroom features a queen and the third has a bunk bed with a pull out trundle bed allowing the house to sleep 7 in comfort.

The pool is one of the largest in Mariposa and we have also installed a new Hot Tub for you to enjoy.

The garage has been converted into a fun Games Room with Ping Pong, Retro Arcade games and a 65" TV.

The many entertaining spaces means your group will have plenty of options when it comes to recreation or relaxation.

The grounds are fenced for your privacy.

You will want for nothing and shouldn't hesitate to book your vacation now to ensure you get your preferred dates.

Beautiful home! We had a great time. We spent our mornings and early afternoon at Yosemite and then came back to the house to relax. It was perfect. The kids loved the pool and game room. It was about an hour from the Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove park entrances. The grocery store is very close and had everything we needed.

Loved the place!!! Super comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The pool, hot tub and game room/TVs were great. Close to cute downtown Mariposa with restaurants and grocery store. Easy commute to Yosemite. We used both the El Portal entrance and the South entrance. Would highly recommend -especially for families with kids. A

Beautiful and Cozy

Fantasic home, so warmly decorated. Easy to find your way around the kitchen. Every appliance you could want, and everything clearly labelled. Game room was fun, and about an hour from the Yosemite Valley.Would have been nice to have more unfo and recommendations about Yosemite in the book. Also, we were unable to use the master bed because the supports were bent, so had to sleep on the couch.

So close to five stars!! Check it out!

This property has so many things to recommend it. It was so clean and one of only a few houses in Mariposa that had a pool. The beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. The game room, great seating in the Living Room and everything wired for fun. A well-functioning kitchen and a super responsive host. It’s a great choice for a stay near Yosemite. What was not exceptional? Not enough to keep us from booking elsewhere, but it would’ve been nice to know ahead of time to help manage our expectations.The first impression of the property is not great. The lawn area is dead grass. There are also dead weeds around the edges of the pool. They may have water restrictions in the area and other good reasons for this, but it made for a bit of a deflated feeling as we got out of the car.As coastal dwellers, we are not used to hot temperatures. We were surprised to discover the AC is controlled remotely by the owner. We did ask for the AC to be lowered once, and he graciously complied. But after a short time, the AC went back up to 75, which is where it stayed. The ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms and a standing fan in the third helped, but it was a bit toasty for us.We loved the vanities in both bathrooms that provided ample storage, but the shower in the primary bathroom and the tub/shower combo in the hall bath were very small.Overall, it’s a great spot. Kevin was so quick to respond to every question. We just wish we had known these few things ahead of time.

Really nice and comfortable house

I love the house and everything about it. The house is clean, quiet, in a great location, and the bed is comfortable. The only issue was one day when we were using the laundry and dishwasher at the same time, causing the shower to run out of hot water.

Excellent stay

Property is great. We enjoyed the hot tub, excellent restaurants minutes away, etc. We were a bit further from Yosemite than anticipated, but that was our choice.

We had a nice stay in Mariposa! The house had all that we needed. The kids loved the game garage. Very close to town and a close enough spot to stay when heading to Sequoia National.

Pool House Relaxation

We really enjoyed our 4nights at Kevin & Poppy’s home in Mariposa. Their home is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. After busy days exploring Yosemite, and Bass Lake, we were very happy to prepare a simple dinner in their well-appointed kitchen, take a dip in their large swimming pool and then relax in their outdoor hot tub under the stars. We slept very well in their comfortable beds. We highly recommend a stay in this VRBO home!

Great stay for family of 5 and grandparents!

We are a family of 5 with 3 boys ages 11, 13, and 15. Grandpa and Grandma came with us too. The 3 bedrooms worked well. Having the garage finished to a rec room gave the boys a separate space to hang out and enjoy ping pong. We spent 2 days in Yosemite Valley and one day at Grant Grove. Yosemite was about an hour drive and Grant Grove 2.5 hour drive. Mariposa had some variety in restaurant's but we made all our meals at the house. We had a couple questions for the host before our stay and they answered them quickly. While we were there we had no need to contact them because everything went well! We enjoyed our stay here very much and would come again!

Great stay for our Yosemite trio

We stayed at the home for about 4 days and enjoyed every day of it. Market is walking diatance, wifi is fast anf 2 tv's in the home. Relaxing stay in the tub beauiful kitchen house isnt too too big but cozy enough for 4 to 5 people to have decent privacy. We went during winter would love to visit durinv summer and take advantage of the poo!
