From the beach, you may take in the view to the north of Whaleback Point and on a clear day the Fox Islands archipelago. Favorite things to do are walking the beach rock hunting, swimming&snorkeling in Big Blue, stargazing, reading, or enjoying a family meal on the expansive deck overlooking the water. Bike out your door to world class cycling along M22 or the Heritage Bike Trail 3 miles to the south. Leelanau Conservancy's Palmer Wood mountain bike trail is 3.5 miles to the south. Easy access to Leelanau Conservancy hikes at Whaleback Trailhead and Clay Cliffs just south and north of Leland approximately 6 miles to the north.
