Vacationers can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a stay in this gorgeous Osprey Ridge Estate that exudes the highlights of the elite Duck lifestyle! With spectacular sunset views over the Currituck Sound and a central locale that's close to the town's renowned beaches, shops, parks, and restaurants, 'PawPrints' is close to all the attributes that make this northern Outer Banks town special, while still feeling miles away from the rest of the world. This home also features elevator access from all levels that makes it easy to transfer luggage and get groceries upstairs.

While it's certainly tempting to explore all the beaches and attractions located minutes away, both two-legged and four-legged guests will find a full vacation's worth of fun in the private and fenced-in backyard. This thoughtfully landscaped area has all the amenities of a private resort, including (but not limited to) a sparkling pool, a wide poolside deck with plenty of furnishings, a pair of patio tables that border the gas grill, a volleyball court, a bubbly hot tub, a horseshoe game, a separate covered patio area, and plenty of room to spread out and have fun. The end result is a veritable playground that will keep everyone in the party – even the furry members – thoroughly entertained. Be sure to play some of your favorite tunes from the outdoor speakers with Bluetooth access from your phone. After a long day at the beach, your guests can rinse off in either of the two outdoor showers.

It's easy to keep the good times going on the ground level, which features a recreation room with a pool table, wet bar, and a bright and sunny color scheme. Visitors can also relax after a full day of adventures in one of two kid-friendly bedrooms on this level. One features a pyramid bunk set with Trundle and the other features a double-over-double bunk set with TV/DVD player. The bedroom with a pyramid bunk set and trundle has a private bath and the other with a double-over-double bunk set shares a full bath with the rec room. Enjoy a good night's rest in one of four colorful and sweetly-appointed bedrooms. This level boasts 2 Queen and 2 King Master Bedrooms and private baths with new pillows in each, (each with their own TV/DVD player). One of them is a handicap-friendly bedroom that features a roll-in shower with 1” lip, a roll-under sink, and handrails around the toilet. On the other side of the screened-in porch, you'll find a spacious, relaxing covered deck that can be accessed from each of the 4 bedrooms. Enjoy quiet comfort in the screened-in porch and enjoy early morning cups of coffee out on the covered deck. With a ramp to the pool and an elevator that accesses all levels, Pawprints ensures that all visitors can access and enjoy their Outer Banks vacation.

The top-level is home to the generous great room, which features a perfectly-applied dose of coastal color, and steps-away access to the gracious front porch and the sun deck – (which is a perfect vantage point for admiring those quiet sound views.) There's also a covered deck on the other side for when you want to take a break from the rays. Enjoy an alfresco meal with the sunset melting into the open waters as a backdrop, or relax inside among the plush yet refined furnishings in the living area, or in the dining area that's framed by sunny windows. Both the kitchen and dining area have access to the top-level sun deck. The dining area provides seating for 10. The kitchen offers additional seating for 8, thanks to a lengthy breakfast bar. When you're ready to retire at night, venture to the top-level master king bedroom and en suite bath, which includes a king-size Sleep Number bed & workspace desk, complete with TV/DVD player. This level also holds a convenient half bath.

No public beach accesses in the town of Duck. Closest public access would be 4.9 miles to Byrd St. access in Kitty Hawk.

Drive, bring your bikes, or walk on the pedestrian path to downtown Duck and enjoy all the town has to offer. This convenient location puts you near the Village of Duck where you'll find fresh seafood, a gourmet market, a produce stand, women's boutiques, bike rentals, amazing restaurants, water sports gear, and outdoor clothing, great bookstores, toy stores, art galleries, gift shops and so much more. All of the stores are locally owned and operated and so close together that shopping can be an all-day event on foot! Scarborough Faire Shopping Center features unique shops and eateries, and also delicious restaurants like Fishbones Raw Bar & Restaurant and Roadside Bar & Grill! For more upscale dining there is the Blue Point Grill, the Paper Canoe, and the Sanderling Resort. Or opt to head south to the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island and have lunch on the way back at Johns Drive-In, a classic drive-in shack (open May-October) specializing in thick milkshakes, burgers, and fried fish sandwiches located at milepost 4.5. Go North to visit the lighthouse, play a round of Mini Golf, enjoy some ice cream or see the Wild Horses of Corolla, take lots of pictures but remember not to feed or approach the horses!
