IMPORTANT NOTE: Luau will be undergoing construction beginning in April 2025 through Winter 2025. During this time construction may be noisy and balcony access may be restricted. Luau 6209 has been completely renovated and is very relaxing with the grey and white decor! The living room has plenty of seating with two couches, one of which pulls out to a sleeper sofa. There is also a bonus half bath off the living room! The kitchen comes fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The bedroom has a comfy king size bed and flat screen TV. This end unit has a HUGE wrap around balcony with plenty of outside seating to relax after a long day at the beach!

Enjoy a selection of desirable amenities during your stay:
- Two lightweight beach chairs and an umbrella to carry to the beach
- Hassle-free check-in with keyless entry (Check-in at 4 PM, Check-out at 10 AM)

You and your guests will fall in love with Luau the minute you lay eyes on the resort. Located in the Sandestin Resort in Miramar Beach, Florida, you are a short hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach access. Our white, pristine beaches will instantly make you feel at ease, and may even persuade you to never go back home! The saltwater pool will amaze you with waterfalls, an outdoor jacuzzi, and a kiddie pool. Burn off some stress in the pool-side fitness center on the ground floor. Community grills are located by the southeast corner of the building for your use after a long day at the beach. Condo is beautifully decorated and nice & clean. Furniture & bed were very comfortable and description of property was accurate. The 1/2 bath was a nice plus even though it was just my wife and I. Communication with property management was excellent (one of the best we’ve experienced) Would highly recommend.

Best place we've stayed at so far

It was a really enjoyable stay. However, there weren't enough luggage carts and it really made our check-in process last long. The elevators were sometomes packed with luggages from people who werent able to find any carts. For such a big building, with a lot of coming and going guests, it was hard to find any carts at all. Other than that, everything else was good. The beach was close and the room was really nice as well.

Can’t wait to stay here again!

Our stay at this condo was great! We were impressed with how clean and cozy it was. The bed was so comfy, the AC can be adjusted to however cold you want it (this was a huge deal for us) and we also loved the shower. The half bathroom was a great addition off of the living room. It’s also very convenient being on the second floor, as it is easy to get to the ground floor for the pool and parking garage easily. The huge wrap around balcony was also great. There were a few things that bothered us, but we are easy going and just dealt with it. On our second day, we had lots of sugar ants on our counter top where the sink is. Also, the dryer does suck, which I’ve seen previous reviews about. I had clothes drying for over 2 hrs and still had to check out of the condo with damp towels. With a 4 year old, I also didn’t like that there were several steps down the path to the beach - it was hard to haul our wagon loaded down with everything we have to tote. Overall, we had a great stay and I’m already looking forward to booking this condo for next year.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The GPS coordianates took you to the Bayside of the road where there was line to ask about whether Luau 2 or 1. Then the desk staff said they could not tell us since Through Gibson rental. The security gate keep was able to explain. The shower drain was stopped up and no response on the Vrbo message board about correcting the issue.

Great!

We loved everything about the condo. This is our second time staying in the Luau building and would stay in this unit again. The only thing that was unsatisfactory was there were some long hairs on the shower wall when we arrived and the drain in the only shower needs to be snaked or something badly. Just taking a 3-5 minute shower the water to starts to fill on the bottom.

Beautiful condo and resort

Gorgeous condo and resort! This condo was spotlessly cleaned, beautifully decorated and we loved the location! Only negative was porch looked out over parking lot but still a lovely porch! This resort is hands down a 5 star but we were disappointed that the pool located in the Luau didn't have it's heater on when we arrived. It was turned on about a week into our stay. I would assume it would have been on all through the winter months. Hands down would stay here again! We loved it!

You don’t have to go far at all for anything!

Best long weekend ever!!

We can't say enough good things about this rental. The bed was sooooo comfy it was hard to say goodbye to it!! We loved the setup so much, it was so homey and comfortable for the two of us! We also just loved the location overall - super close to Baytowne wharf, was so easy to head over on the free tram! We also loved how easy it was to get to the beach from the path behind the pool - so convenient!! We're definitely looking forward to our next stay in this unit for sure!! :)

Great condo and location!

We brought our toddlers who slept on the pull out couch. The door access to the patio from the bedroom worked perfect for this. There were brief storms during our stay which made the parking garage access great. The pool was AWESOME with a kiddie pool. The beach was a short walk (no crossing highways or major streets) and the views from the sun deck were amazing. Baytown Warf was also great to see and was only a mile away. There is a Publix grocery store and other restaurants within a mile drive as well. We went to the beach and pool every day!

Holiday weekend stay in Sandestin

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I were in town for a friends birthday celebration over Memorial Day weekend. They chose the Sandestin resort in Miramar for we looked for a unit that would accommodate our needs. We chose 6209 as it had a king bed where many others only had a queen. As for the unit, it was really nice. Updated interior and a nice comfy bed. Great wraparound porch where we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast in the morning. There’s really no view to speak of (other than the parking lot), but the proximity to the beach and short elevator ride back and forth from beach/pool to your room made it nice. My only negative about the room was the towels provided. The bath towels they provided were cheap and wouldn’t even wrap around my 10 year old. Just one of those little shortcuts they took that was noticing e for me. But all in all a really nice condo.As far as Sandestin as a wouldn’t be my first choice, or fifth. While the beach and the water were beautiful, it really isn’t that relaxing as you are packed in like sardines. And since we flew in from out of town, we were without a car and there is ZERO stores or anything nearby to get provisions. You kind of feel stuck there. If you need anything...it’s basically a delivery of an Uber ride away which can add up. To each his own I guess, but I just felt that there wasn’t enough there to assist with our stay.

I’m a single mom and was a little nervous since this was our first time staying in Sandestin but this place was great! It was big enough for all three of us. Had everything we needed.
