Staycation in Hillcrest
The property was clean, management was responsive, easy checkin/checkout process, great neighborhood. However, the walls are thin. Overall construction of the building is poor. There is a mandatory quiet time starting at 10 pm. This mean that a low volume on your TV is too loud. I fell asleep watching a Disney movie and the person staying in the room next to us started pounding continuously on my bedroom wall at 1:15 in the morning yelling at me that that I was being too loud. Once again, the volume on the TV was at 15 (Low). I had to threaten to call the police if she didn't stop. Which she finally did. I came to stay here to rest and relax on our vacation away from work,, not party.Fortunately, my Auntie lives on El Cajon 15 minutes away and we stayed with her the final night, knowing we couldn't get a refund, just for peace of mind. The next morning we went back for coffee and breakfast in the neighborhood and to enjoy the doggy park and do a final walk through to checkout.
