Our apartment is a clean comfortable space with a large fully equipped kitchen and living room designed for comfort and relaxing after a great day exploring York or a lazy morning to plan your day. We are right next door to our very own cafe bar - The Fossgate Social and welcome you in with a really good coffee, food and alcoholic refreshments. Your apartment has a large rooftop patio where you can relax with a glass of your favorite tipple and some yummy local street food from any number of the independent shops, delis, restaurants or cafes in the street. There are regular street festivals throughout the Summer and Autumn - Just step out of your front door and you are in the heart of it all!

Your apartment is situated at the back of the building, and does not overlook the street and the bedroom peeps down to the garden of our cafe bar, so on a busy evening you may experience the chatter from below. The cafe serves until 12.30. Whilst Fossgate is a very central lively hub, it has an alternative feel and doesn't get rowdy or too loud for city centre - if you like the gentle hum of music and life in the background, and being able to step outside and be immersed in York life - we think you will love this place!

We love to boast that Fossgate is the best street in York (it really is!) We are in the Center of the City so everything York has to offer is really close - a few minutes walk from all of the museums, shops, parks, The Minster and at the top of the street are the Medieval Shambles.
