There were several issues and disappointments with this property! The fridge froze ALL our groceries and the freezer was in dire need of being defrosted! The shower head in one of the bathrooms sprayed outside the shower onto the wall and ran down behind the toilet. We rarely had hot water and full pressure. The sliding patio door in the small bedroom does not open!! There is no plug for the kitchen sink nor enough coffee cups for 6 people! There is no guest handbook with information so your left to figure out TV, dishwasher, what’s required for checkout etc… I continually was messaging the host (property manager)… most concerning was we had a near miss outdoor light fixture electrical fire!! The light outside the master bedroom was switched on, about 1/2 hour after sitting poolside we could smell wires burning! The fixture was smoking!! Had we not been poolside who knows what would have happened! Other small details that were not favourable were the cleanliness- the kitchen window had bird droppings and months of not years of grime. Most of the lighting throughout the rental is dimly lit and dark. My bed sheets appeared not clean on arrival, and the mold on the rubber rim of the fridge was gross! We compared the photos on the VRBO site to what we were actually renting and concluded the photos are NOT up to date!! Lastly, to our extreme dissatisfaction the cleaning crew showed up an hour before our checkout time! For the pluses: great location & A/C worked like a charm!
