The house is situated in Eurong Second Valley which is protected with a Dingo safety enclosure to give you peace of mind, it is approximately a 200-meter walk to the Eastern beach, great for going down to the beach throwing a rod in, and catching some fish day or night with just a short a stroll back to the house, it is also just a short walk to Eurong’s restaurant, shop, bakery, and resort bar.
It is an older style house and shows it’s age in some places, expect to find some loving wear and quaint ageing both inside and out. It is a great base location to stay to go and spend your days visiting all the beautiful lakes around such as Lake McKenzie, Lake Birrabeen, Lake Boomanjin, Lake Benaroon, Basic Lake, and Lake Wabby. Go and see the SS Maheno shipwreck and float down Eli creek in the beautiful freshwater.
The house has three bedrooms plus a sleepout and can sleep up to 10 people. This consists of:
Bedroom 1 (sleepout)– 2 Single beds (ideal for kids)
Second bedroom – Queen bed with an ensuite with shower and toilet.
Third bedroom – Tripple bunk (Double bed on the bottom and single up top) and a separate single bed.
Fourth Bedroom – Double bed with main bathroom access.The main bathroom has a bath and a shower and is connected there is also a separate toilet in here.
There is a highchair available if needed for babies/toddlers during your stay.
No linen is supplied you will need to bring these with you! As much as we would love to supply these for your stay we simply cannot offer this as the time it takes our cleaners to clean the property we cannot have all bed linen and towels washed, dried, and ready for the next guests in this timeframe. Our prices reflect this. Linen can however be hired locally if needed.
Pillows and blankets are provided for your stay.
There are ceiling fans and insect screens throughout the house and the house runs off Gas for the hot water.
The lounge/dining area has a TV (free to air) and for on those rainy days, there is also a bookshelf with books and games.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, a large electric fridge/freezer, plus a deep freezer. All utensils are supplied – pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
Sit back and relax on the undercover deck upstairs, which has a table, chairs, and a gas BBQ.
Downstairs and under the house is where you will find an automatic washing machine which you are welcome to use. (Cold wash only)
You will need to bring your own bedsheets (bottom sheet, doona cover & pillowcases), towels, personal items, toilet rolls, garbage bags, matches/lighter, food, and drinks. We do provide a few toilet rolls & garbage bags for you to use first. There are bathmats for each bathroom and a tea towel for your use so no need to bring these.
The house runs off SOLAR POWER ONLY with a backup generator because of this there are to be NO toasters, hairdryers/straighteners, car fridges, rice cookers, air fryers, pie makers, etc anything with a heating element as these can NOT be used as they draw too much power and will trip the solar power to the property, we suggest you only use what is supplied.
We kindly ask that you please be mindful of power usage at all times especially on cloudy days and we kindly ask that you turn all lights, fans, and plug sockets off such as phone chargers when they are not in use and when you are out for the day as these will draw down the power, also leaving lights on overnight will draw down the power bank and it may leave you without power until the backup kicks in.
All Rubbish needs to be disposed of when leaving and the property left clean and tidy.
Please note: The properties downstairs at the back of the house may be occupied by the Hosts during your stay (very rare) when maintenance, solar, etc needs attention, you will usually be notified if this is the case.
All adult guests staying will need to provide ID asap upon booking before stay.
Maximum number of guests must not exceed 10 people, if found to be more you will be evicted immediately with no refund!
Children to be supervised at all times, no climbing on the balcony.
No swags to be set up on property.
Keep noise to a minimum from 10pm for neighboring residents.
No earlier check-in before 2pm unless agreed prior with the owner. If an earlier check-in occurs without permission a charge of $80 will apply.
