Great view-Yes, but not good for families
First the positives:
-View was Outstanding. A truly great view.
-Cleanliness was Outstanding. Very clean everywhere.
-Pool area was perfect. Nice waterfall effect. Pool was shallow on once side, deep on the other. Plenty of room to relax in chairs and enjoy the wonderful view.
Next the negatives:
-If traveling with young kids, there is a HUGE PROBLEM. It is NOT (4) bedrooms all together. It is (2) bedrooms on the lower property and (2) bedrooms on the upper property. The upper part you see in the picture is NOT ACCESSIBLE to the lower half unless you go outside and go up a bunch of stairs. If you are a group of adults, this is no problem. But, with younger kids it's very difficult. If they need you at 2am, they have to walk outside in the dark, down a bunch of stairs, then unlock the main door in the downstairs property. This is not apparent at all in the property description.
-Beds are unbelievably hard. All of them. I would have been better off on the floor. All of us had neck/back pains.
-While there is A/C in each bedroom, there was none at all in the kitchen/living room area. Very hot making meals.
-While the host was generally a nice guy, he was not very accommodating with check-in. We we're traveling from LaFortuna and we asked him if meeting around 5pm would work. He said the best he could do was 4:30 at the very latest, and seemed annoyed we asked for 5pm. The listing says "after 1pm". We never received any other check-in info to help us plan.
