Chalet Minnetonka is an OVO Network property. It is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom chalet for 10 near La Clusaz.

The OVO Network team’s opinion -

Set in a secluded location surrounded by nature, you'll need a car to get around when you stay here, but there are plenty of places to explore. A real bonus is the proximity to the lifts and parking at Crêt du Loup, which means you won't have to tackle the La Clusaz traffic when you want to get on the slopes in the morning.

We love the comfortable seating area with cosy sofas and seating in front of the huge picture windows, overlooking the valley. The views are incredible, but they are even better if you step out on to the balcony, or grab a drink and head for the nordic bath!

There are five double bedrooms, all with their own bath or shower rooms at Chalet Minnetonka. One of the bedrooms also has two single beds under the eaves, but these may be best reserved for children. There's also an extra single pull-out bed in one of the other double bedrooms.

On the practical side, Chalet Minnetonka also has a useful laundry room as well as a ski room with a heated boot rack. There's plenty of space to park your cars outside the chalet.

The land at the front of the chalet is a great place for children to play or sledge in the winter. However, it's not enclosed, so children will need to be supervised.

Important: the chalet is located on the heights of La Clusaz. In winter, access to the chalet requires at least a vehicle equipped with good snow tyres (obligatory in winter in the region), and even good quality chains. The ideal vehicle is a 4x4 equipped with snow tyres.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.
