Great property in a great location

We all had a great time, this was our first time using vrbo and it was a very easy and pleasant experience. The owners were super friendly, replied quickly to any questions we had and gave us lots of information related to the property.The property itself was fantastic, the layout is great and worked well for us. The fenced in yard was brilliant for our dog too.The location was brilliant right in the middle of everything and a short walk to the beach.It was a great experience and we will be coming back.

We had a great stay at this house. It is a very short walk to the beach. Love that it is all one level and has a fenced in yard for dogs.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We very much enjoyed our stay! The home is beautiful, with great amenities and perfect size for our family! The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and close to several attractions and great restaurants. Elwood was extremely helpful with information about the home and the surrounding area. Fall OBX getaway

Great home with walking distance to the beach & short drives to KDH locations. Great home base for exploring the OBX. Fenced yard helped with our dogs. Tons of space. Comfortable and all the amenities you may need. Next visit to OBX, I’ll be checking with Elwood to see if there is a vacancy.

Great stay, great location

Perfect rental for my family and dog! All of the little things that you might forget were taken care of by Elwood (linens for each bed, towels, condiments in the fridge, etc). Easy check-in process and short walk to the beach.

Family Reunion

Elwood and Mary were great! I stayed there with my 3 siblings and we had a great time. The house was in a great location, clean and they even let us check-in early! They were incredibly accommodating and great for our two dogs too!

Fabulous beach house!

We stayed for 3 weeks while moving between homes - beautifully decorated and clean with plenty of room, even a desk and chair if you have to work during your stay. All one level and a large fenced backyard was perfect for us and our pups. We could hear the ocean waves from the yard, it was a short few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommended!!

Amazing as always!!

This is our second time staying here and it felt like home!! Love the comfort this home brings. It’s so close to the beach and the neighborhood is quiet. Fenced in yard is more than perfect for the dog! Kids enjoyed playing basketball with the neighboring children. A really great trip

Well appointed, well maintained, well located (1.5 blocks from the beach.) Lots of good restaurants nearby but the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook some of your own meals. Engaged and responsive property owners made everything easy. If (hopefully when) we return to this area this is where we will stay.

Perfect Location

The location was great, a block and a half to the beach as well as the pier. The house beat expectations and the fenced yard was perfect for our two Brittanys. Elwood was very accommodating. We had a minor issue and came right over to take care of it.

Great location!

We were very happy with this home based on the location and price range. The property manager was very responsive, and the check-in and check-out process was very simple. We traveled off-season, so the yard was not very tidy, but we made good use of the fenced yard for our dog, with supervision. All the the necessities were covered, and we were pleasantly surprised by some of the amenities not available at other nearby properties.

We reside in rural southeastern Virginia, enjoying the great outdoors, raising chickens, Turkeys, Ducks, for their eggs and insect control. When we're off we enjoy gardening and cooking, and watching wildlife at the feeders.
My family loves the beach life at our Kill Devil Hills home, quiet neighborhood, and our friendly and helpful neighbors.
The home is located conveniently to many shops, restaurants and attractions, particularly the beach and Avalon pier, and Awful Arthur's restaurant is a must try across the street from the beachfront parking lot, exclusive to us and our guests.
