Peaceful and warm and cosy with beautiful sea views in the heart of Nelson

Whilst this luxury eco cabin is best in summer with its indoor outdoor flow - we've had requests to open it up for winter .....Please note it is a one room cabin and It's warm and cosy with double glazing and wool insulation with a heater and electric blanket, but if you are not out during the day its might be too small for your needs. Also the shower, whilst wonderfully hot , is outside - so you need to be able to enjoy a Whim Hof experience !

It is beautifully peaceful and quiet with stunning sea views if the weather is behaving for you.
We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that it will feel warm and welcoming with all your basic needs for your stay.
We are in Nelson - 5 minutes drive to Tahunanui beach and 7 minutes drive to central Nelson and yet there is the feeling that you are away from it all.

Simplicity and quality - a comfortable queen sized bed, an electric blanket , luxury linen, a duvet and a spare one if cold and a hot water bottle for those who get cold feet

It is glamping with a focus on glamorous ……a cozy insulated double glazed cabin and a covered deck with outside arm chairs , a good hot water outdoor shower with a sea view, a little kitchen with a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and a cooker so you can make simple food - we have a list of excellent Nelson restaurants for something more substantial.

Please note that there is no sitting room , TV or board games so it’s not the place to hangout on cold rainy days unless you want to lie in bed and read your book.

We have wifi but for those who are EMF sensitive you can turn it off.

We have a small poodle on the property - and dogs are welcome but only by prior arrangement please.

We are on a hillside and there is a good railing in front of the cabin but due to the steepness of the hillside this property is not for small children. Also it is non smoking - please.

We live in the main house and there are three cabins in the garden. The top one is a bedroom and the middle one an office that is only used occasionally. We respect your privacy and your cabin being a distance from the house plus with the help of the feijoa hedge, hopefully you will feel a sense of privacy and space.

You will love it here if you are looking for relaxation and peace…..it’s cosy, calm and tranquil.

Please nb I have now set a minimum of two nights stay due to the amount of washing required for nightly turn arounds - if however you want to stay one night please contact me - there will be an extra $50 charge for laundry and cleaning.
